Loving these songs. It's not my usual taste in music but what's behind it is so powerful that that doesn't matter. The words are so deep and the rap was fierce and heartfelt that I ended up wanting to hear this again and again. Amazing project - let's hope it continues. These kids are amazing and deserve to be heard far and wide.

My family always knew we were native, but we didn't know who, or where..I'm the fam historian...this year I was able to fill in those blanks...I'm Anishinaabe, Pembina Chippewa, Metis, Cree, & Mikmaq...still filling in our missing history...proud of my native roots...

I’m Native but never known which nation I belong to, 2 years ago I found out I’m Anishinaabe :) Cause my father was adopted, my journey of reconnecting has been hard but I just I learnt I’m a Lac Seul Ojibwe ❤️ this video was one of the first things to come up when I searched Lac Seul, and I’m proud to have kin that spread such important messages for our people. This song is a few years old now but if you guys see this I hope you’re keeping up the good work ❤️ I hope one day I can return to my homelands and meet all my relatives. So much talent in this one video; from the awesome singing to cinematography (the kids in the cirlcle playing telephone is brilliant, btw. Oral culture lives on!) to the rapping (omg, the rapping, give that beautiful lady a record deal someone!) Great work.
