    I really like the way you hand-built the shape, avoiding the soulless look of uniformity. I also love dragonflies. Thanks for sharing your instructions.

    I admired the grace of this vase in one of your other videos and wondered how it had been made - wow, it is beautiful, thank you for sharing.

    Really impressive! At first, I thought you were doing this the hard way…but then the whole result is a beautiful organic masterpiece! Thank you for sharing your process.

    oh really love the way you use the stone to add the textures. Are you selling your dragon fly & those little flower stamps?

    And how come the dragon fly stays white after you glaze the vase? Is that because you use the slip clap over the dragon fly? I'm confused?

      Thank you for your comment.
      The glaze will be transparent after firing so that you can see the dragonfly pattern.

    口取りは一気にもっていかれると思ってました。後ずけで手びねりで?だから味がでて良いですね。👀

      柔らかな形を表現したいので、こういう成形方法を用いてます。

    お質問ですが、化粧土を塗る前に、素焼が必要ですか?

    • @WatajimaPottery
      @WatajimaPottery  Рік тому +1

      この花入れの場合、素焼きはせずに生土に化粧土を施しております。

      @@WatajimaPottery ご回答ありがとうございます。さらにすごく初心者の問題かもしれませんが、素焼きせずと素焼きしたの違いはなんでしょう?

    How often have you had pots crack while firing

    • @WatajimaPottery
      @WatajimaPottery  2 роки тому +1

      I would say cracks happen once in every 20 vases.
      Cracks don’t usually happen with basic pieces (plates and bowls)
      Those vases are thicker than other pieces so they crack more easily.
      To avoids cracks, I pat them thoroughly with a paddle and let them dry for at least month.

    I think you should consider replicating and selling some of your artist tools. Ever hear of this guy, Mike Sherrill?

      Thank you for your comment. I basically create tools myself that are suitable for my work. I would like to make some videos demonstrating how I create these original tools.
