    As long as Scotty has the parts sorted 😂 hopefully he’s around for another 50 years. I’d stick with the mf35. Parts available everywhere

    Great video but as an Australian I'd be hesitant to support your neighboor to the north! One thing I wonder about is your tires are way too clean...like you haven't used them and it's brand new.

    Nice tractor john , i was looking for a fe35 but unrealistic prices killed that idea . I just bought myself a second hand dongfeng 254 tractor with front end long with just 630hrs on it . Few hydrolic leaks that i will be fixing myself due too lack of maintenance from previous owner . But so far im bloody happy as a pig in shit .

      Yes mate, they're a good little machine. Like anything, they just need regular maintenance. Hope you get many years service from it 👍

    Re hyd hose rubbing issue....
    I removed both bolts, removed the metal plate that was between the hoses and the FEL arm. Then filed smooth the edges of the u shaped metal bracket, wound lots of electrical tape around it from end to end, poked holes through the tape for the bolts, pushed the bolts in, and taped 1/2" of the bolt thread, and put the u shaped bracket back on the FEL arm, but facing the other way. I didn't put the single metal plate back on.
    The hoses are able to slide if needed back or forward as needed. Plus the bolt threads can't cut the hoses either, due to a few rounds of the electrical tape.

      Thanks for your (detailed!) feedback mate. At least now I know it wasn't JUST ME, with this issue. Happy Tractoring 👍

    I can never understand why they persist in fitting skinny front tyres/wheels on machines with front loaders. First bit of soft ground you try to take a bucket full across, the wheels just sink. Not enough surface area for loader work.

    Hi John great video... so it's been a few years now since this video and I would love to know if you are still happy with the tractor?

    I wonder how well your Chinese tractor would start in cold weather ? The cold weather that I am referring to is the kind of cold weather we get here in Canada.

    Hey guys - dont want to hijack the thread however any stuck this issue? ZB45 - 125 HRS. When using a slasher, is ok for a couple of hrs however when i go up on an angle (not extreme), it dies out like lack of diesel. Last year, i had to bleed in the paddock after resting it and was able to get it on the flat. Was able to slash ok on flat land. Fast forward to today - same issue :( going up a slight hill 45 degrees, dies out and stops. Was able to turn of PTO and restart - limp up and on the flat appears to be ok. Air filter very clean and Fuel filter replaced not that long ago

      45 degrees is no 'slight hill'!! Does your tractor engine have a low oil level shut off switch? It might be getting activated when you're on steep slopes.

    What temp do you find yours runs at on the gage?

    • @johnp1388
      @johnp1388  Рік тому

      My temp gauge shows about 1/3. Not quite half way - and I'm situated in the tropics.
