I am sure that back multiple generations in the corriente blood lines, there was a Charolais or Murray Grey crossed in their genetics. I have a smoke colored corriente heifer in my herd, I am excited to see how she crosses with these bulls. The history of the corriente, longhorn, and criollo cattle breeds is pretty broad due to them being based on a more wild-type genetic base. There is a very good chance that there is anything from Charolais to Holstein in their genetic makeup.
I would’ve never guessed what those bulls are. I woulda said they all had a little charolais! They look similar to mine
