@@emptee6581 How is Sophie’s awful behaviour Mark’s fault? She chooses to behave in a selfish, manipulative, horrible way - that’s her fault I’m afraid. I can’t believe how sympathetic people are towards her. I know she’s fictional, but unfortunately I’ve met too many people just like her in real life! She’s the worst.
Always thought she was very physically attractive in this season and season 2 and I'm only 21. Nice face and great knockers. I'd give it a go. Let herself go a bit in the laters seasons tbf though.
The talent of an actress is determined by their ability to play a variety of roles. Sophie vomiting up in the toilet versus The Queen in the crown... 😂
Sophie was the most tragic character in peep show. Mark and Jez deserved everything that happened to them, but Sophie was a legitimately good person in the beginning.
I kind of like that it's out of order. It really highlights Olivia's skill. On one clip you see her smiling and ladylike, the next she's crying her heart out as if she was the most miserable woman on earth. It's hard to believe she's acting! Come to think of it, her descent into mayhem made me forgot she was not just likable, but actually lovely at one point.
"You're like a life support machine Mark" "Well... Thank you Sophie" "Except instead of giving life you SUCK IT ALL OUT OF PEOPLE" "Uh huh..." (My beautiful wife)
No, sorry, you needed to include that horrible, cringy scene when she's coming down the stairs when her family are singing that "happy birthday" song. As awful as Sophie is, that scene did make me laugh because it was so cringe!
Sophie may have been the consummate professional but there must have always been an air of dysfunction about her to choose Mark as a partner. And Jeff.
She's a bit of a manipulating bitch who can't accept Mark for who he is, but persists with misleading him into situations and going off with his enemies @@hwren9845
I thought she was a nice person, but she took it really hard getting sort-of jilted at the altar and went into a downward spiral that only temporarily abated when she had the baby, and then she got even worse. The trouble with Sophie was that she thought she needed a man, at then got to the point where any man would do.
When they were standing at the altar and Mark was asked if "he will", he should have looked over at Sophie crying and said in a loud, clear voice, "No, I won't, because it's obvious this isn't what Sophie wants," then walked quickly out of the church (followed by the faithful Jez).
bitch Well she's hardly a worse person than Mark or Jeremy. She winds up mean and manipulative and hopeless, like nearly everyone on this show; that's what makes them and her so much fun?
Goes from being a 00s style Yuppie who is doing really well for someone in her twenties, to being a total mess of a person, as the series goes on. Does any other character ride as steep a downward spiral as Sophie?
Can someone explain why it ends with Sophie crying at the wedding? Like why is she crying? What has Mark done? I can't remember that part of the show :P
Ol' Marco had been hiding from the wedding party with Jez, and basically got caught out. I think she knew right then that their marriage was a nothing more than a husk.
The funny thing is Olivia Coleman asked the writers to make her character unlikable.
Where did you hear it? I kinda wanna know
Most of the characters are intended to be unlikable. Some even beyond redemption.
it worked
@@MoskHotel mad to think that Super Hans is the most normal character in the show!
leah walker That’s what I was thinking. And Super Hans’ a crack addict! 😂
'That's so Barbara she's such a racist!'
My favourite line from Sophie easily
In the beginning. I adored Sophie when she was just the sweet office girl. But the series really made her into a tragic alcoholic and bad mum 😢
Yeah, slowly but surely Mark transformed her into a semi feral, miserable heap. 😆
@Andrew Smith lmao! Are you joking? Have you even watched the show?

Haha 3:49 "Unfilled?" Haha one of my favourite ever parts of Peep Show :D :D :D
Just wanted to say, wow, from Peep Show to a Best Actress Oscar. Heck of a journey. Congrats, Olivia Colman!
Well done Oliva Coleman, the Oscar Winner (leading actress) 2019.
I love that I'm not the only one who came straight here after watching her speech.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Absolutely, a wonderful and talented actress!
Olivia has an unusually 'pretty' voice. I think that is her unique star making quality.
Bruh

She has a bloody nice voice
@@daveed2589 and then i go and spoil it all by saying...
She’s a sweetie
This women is going to win an Oscar

Andres Leon ahh you beat me to it
Well played
Oh shit
Spot on!
The talent of an actress is determined by their ability to play a variety of roles. Sophie vomiting up in the toilet versus The Queen in the crown... 😂
True. Its nice to see her playing a character with some dignity before playing the queen
'shes off her head on street drugs' is one of my favourite lines in the show for some reason. The delivery is just perfect
Please for the love of god, chronological order!
Challen Bellamey Pppp
Eh. Sophie leaving the limo, crying "He's horrible!" is a way better ending than the ball pit scene.
I absolutely love the temporal jumps. Really jams the point home.
"Unfilled?" 😂😂
un full filled
Sophie was the most tragic character in peep show. Mark and Jez deserved everything that happened to them, but Sophie was a legitimately good person in the beginning.
She gave Mark so many chances and was so understanding when he had awkward blunders.
She sperm jacked Mark and had a baby with him against his will. She was a cosmic C*NT.
an alcoholic drug addict…
5:20 Jeremy’s eyes. Spot on
"Hortenzia?? Oh, this is a fucking disaster."
🤣
SO HAPPY FOR HER!!!! Well done Oliva you deserve this completely
She's such a good actress... She makes Sophie so believable and unlikable
Olivia Colman is pure magic.
Just realised she says "a girl like you" at 2:25
"Please don't say I will"
"I will"
"Ahhh"
😂
Congratulations on the Oscar, Olivia
"Of course! The air holes are numerous!"
Oscar Winner right there !
Her reaction at 9:58 is somehow annoying but adorable at the same time
Very underappreciated character
"My beautiful wife"....... lol!
Its funny she starts off nice and happy and mark just absolutely destroys her spirit
Sophie is to Mark what The Waitress is to Charlie Kelly
Hahaha so true! Funnily enough, both shows are my favourite TV shows :)
True haha only difference is Mark gets with her several times over
I phisically cringe at the entire wedding episode, however I'm never tired of re-watching it
*un-ful-filled*
The strange thing is that we're not that surprised Sophie won an Oscar, it's just all a bit weird.
I kind of like that it's out of order. It really highlights Olivia's skill. Unfilled. Genius
Isn't it crazy that sophie and dobby never had a single conversation (as far as i know)? imagine!
"I need to talk to Sophie"
"I think she might be balls deep..." :DDD
The wedding acting by Olivia was phenomenal - ‘tHe HUmP?!’
Can't believe you got rid of the scene where she accepted her Oscar
"Homeless ball-pit witch" 😂😂😂
2:39 - 2:42 It almost looked like Olivia’s lips were synching up with Mark’s monologue.
And then she got an Oscar
Well well well, Arthur Curry... we meet again.
She's hilarious in this and hilarious for real
Academy Award Winning Actress Olivia Colman ❤️
The best transformation in the history of a character, and what an actress! She won the Oscar for a reason.
"Unfilled?" Hahaha
Mark!!!!! You had your chance mate! you married gold! Sophie just won an Oscar for best actress.....but you blew it by divorcing her! XD
Except in real life he is hitting Vicky who is funny but a bit fat
And no nana's cottage! XD
Divorcing her, as well as many other things. He destroyed her all the way through to her core lol
No, sorry, you needed to include that horrible, cringy scene when she's coming down the stairs when her family are singing that "happy birthday" song. As awful as Sophie is, that scene did make me laugh because it was so cringe!
That scene actually hurts to watch! 🤣
Brilliant scene with her bro jigging along excitedly
The brother! 🙈🙈🙈
Sophie may have been the consummate professional but there must have always been an air of dysfunction about her to choose Mark as a partner. And Jeff.
"Unfilled? :o"
"UnFULLfilled. >:("
" a bit married "
I'm just finding out that people don't like Sophie?
I thought she was cool. weird, but cool.
Right? I've been watching Peep Show since the beginning and had no idea people hated her so much.
She's a bit of a manipulating bitch who can't accept Mark for who he is, but persists with misleading him into situations and going off with his enemies @@hwren9845
Youre not meant to like anybody. They are all shits!
Apart from faithful dobby. Dobbys gorgeous.

That last bit just made me sad.

Absolutely incredible the heights that Olivia Coleman has reached. Such an phenomenal actress.
Glad Sophie finally pulled her socks up
I love the continuity of "cockmuncher" throughout the series 😂 👌
"Hortenzia?! Oh, this is a fucking disaster!"
I feel..... unfulfilled UNFILLED??!
That’s Academy Award winner Olivia Colman, you guys!
Hey everyone, thank god we have captain dipshit obvious here to help us all out.
SHE WON
"homeless ballpit witch" - LOL
seems more like a best of mark
Congrats Olivia! Oscar winner! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
There tears of joy lol
So strange to think an actress from Peep Show is now nominated for an Oscar
Omg Mark is such a nerd, I love it.
Oscar (r) winner Sophie
Congratulations on your Oscar Olivia Colman
Oscar winner 💖
"Some kind of homeless, ballpit witch" ahahahahaha
So funny too think she just won an oscar, its the equivalent of david mitchell winning one
3:48 Burn
That laugh she does at 3:05 kills me 🤣
"He's horrible...."
never understood what Sophie ever saw in Mark... at least they let her finish up with Jeff, an altogether better match
My reaction to the new Marvel series Secret Invasion: "IT'S SOPHIE! THE SOPHSTER! SOPHISTRY!"
Jeez, Mark piled on the pounds.
Unpopular opinion: I actually really like Sophie
bitch Well she's hardly a worse person than Mark or Jeremy. She winds up mean and manipulative and hopeless, like nearly everyone on this show; that's what makes them and her so much fun?
Katie Greatness exactly my thoughts.
She starts off as the pretty and charming love interest and then her character declines more and more through the seasons
I always thought this to be intentional; the more we (and Mark) get to know her, the more we see her faults, see her incompatibility with Mark, etc.
@@boozecruiser its not really a decline, it's just the illusion mark makes of her falls away
1:38 Lady’s and Gentleman - queen😂
Unfilled! 🤣
3:05 dead
The air holes are numerous
I've been caught out like Angus Deayton or Harold Shipman lmao.
Why did this Mark guy marry Queen Anne if he didn't want to?
Mark ruined this woman
Oscar Winner!!!!
well done on ur oscar sophie -come a long way from sitting on marks hand on the bus hehe
Unfilled? Still makes me laugh.
Maybe I should watch this show. Never heard of it before, and I’m American, but this is quite funny.
It's very funny. The POV style takes some getting used to, but once you do you'll fall in love with the show.
I ❤ olivia colman
HORTENSIA!?

You feel unfilled?? 🤣
"Best of Sophie" is an oxymoron I think
She a great character though?
Its worth remembering that Olivia really doesnt like Sophie. She's Olivia of course so she's magnificent
Olivia Coleman is such a great actress but I hate her character
sophie started off as a nice person but was ruined by mark and became horrible
how good olivia is, is that i liked her at the start and ended up disliking her, she made me feel like mark
At least they got over the hump.
