+999madtom Actually I've been inside - it's very modern and high tech. Flat screen TVs, various comms, smooth and new tables - and best of all, swivel office chairs!
I have seen it all now. I bus with blue lights and sirens responding...I am pretty sure I could hear you creaming yourself when it came over the brow of the hill lol

while we have numerous buses used as command posts and large capacity ambulances and plenty of videos of them here in Germany, this is the first video I see from such a bus ni England
+EnjoyFirefighting - International Emergency Response Videos I know right. It's very very rare here in the UK. Yeah I've seen many videos of them in Germany, and a few in the U.S. what with the FDNY's MERV & MTRU trucks. Was well pleased.
I had a video on my previous channel of Gloucestershires Incident Commant Unit turning out. It's near enough the same as H&Ws one. Also an X Reg with nearly identical livery and same lights
+999dave1992 Oh wow awesome. You ought to re-upload it mate! It's a gorgeous truck that one at Cheltenham, just like this one at Malvern. Both are gorgeous stations in lovely Spa towns too!
+RascarDK I know right! Well buses have been converted for a few fire services here in the UK too - how-ever they're very very rare, and old too as most are going out of service. Was well pleased ;-)
I would love to see this very unique beast I've never seen a fire unit bus before lol I thought I was seeing things when I seen a pic of it on google!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Seems odd for there to be a bus, but actually, the more I think about it, the more sense it seems to make. I'm sure I've passed actual fire stations with less real estate than the inside of one of those!
+Andy Daley Ah so he has. He's filmed the West Sussex Dennis Dart twice! Darn, ruins the moment! =D I searched for 'Dennis Dart' 'Dennis Dart Command Unit' 'Fire Dennis Dart' 'Dennis Dart Fire Truck' 'Dennis Dart Fire Appliance' 'Fire Service Dennis Dart Command' and also searched for 'Fire Command Unit'. Can you tell?
+Jordan Goddard Thanks mate!!! Aha yes I've been wanting to catch this for some time - I still haven't seen it all, but I have seen a lot of it all! ;-) Next is the Land Rover that's based at the same station as this.

Apparently Manchester has one of these, Never seen it though
I've seen it at the Trafford Centre! Looks great.

Awsome catch m8 never seen one of these before =D ive gad loads of internet problems D: when can i efer be active?
+Badger emergency responses Thanks!!! I know right.
Take it easy, we all have internet problems - some more than others...
wonder if some old person has put their arm out to hail that to stop before lol
When you've waited all day for a bus and it doesn't stop!
That things cool
This to me is hilarious. Darts aren't really the fastest buses around but at least it wasn't a Volvo B6.
+Charlotte Clarke Aha no they're not. But they seem like they do the job well in terms of space for carrying equipment.
Charlotte Clarke Speed isn't necessary, the point of blue lights and sirens is to minimise stopping at lights and junctions and avoid traffic jams.
What do the green, orange and red lights mean on the back of the fire engine/bus?
It's to show a night light
Didn’t Gloucestershire run one of these
They did. Looked very similar!
Yk theres a optare solo sr commander?
Yeah the London Fire Brigade now have them.
Fire bus to the rescue
+Coastliner700 , Yep that's right!
What the hell was that!? Never seen such thing
+Dini shire Ahmed Shire I know right!

OK number 1, what the fuck is this monstrosity I'm witnessing and 2, what could they possibly be responding to at turtle pace?
buses in the UK during late 90s were very powerful
I am from america, and wtf is that truck?
SKY-911☆CS:GO☆ It's a command and control unit built by a bus maker. Used on major incidents as an operational control centre for coordination of emergency services.

WTF WOW.
+GrievousGaming Yeah my reaction as well hah!
Thanks
Bet the equipment in it is as old as the bus. #cutshaveconsequences
+999madtom Actually I've been inside - it's very modern and high tech. Flat screen TVs, various comms, smooth and new tables - and best of all, swivel office chairs!
That's unfair! :P Our SJA control doesn't have swivel chairs but everything else.
Aha lol.
Game fighter Captain America soldier Ki Kar
Good god that Honda is ugly
Yes it is - what about the Dennis Dart big red bus? :P
CobraEmergencyVideos That is actually quite neat
Goood
One of a rare few catches of these in the UK.
First ever catch of this particular one.
😍😍😍😍🚹👙🚢💤💍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍👄💕💘💝💞💋👄
At least I know west used aren't the only ones who have a bus!!
+RTTV VIDS great gramma from me, I meant at least I know w st Sussex are the only ones that have buses
Aha! Yes aside from HWFR I think W Sussex are the only others with a bus command unit! I much prefer the bus as well.
south wales has a bus-like command unit- www.southwales-fire.gov.uk/English/operationalresponse/ourequipment/Pages/ControlUnit_vehicle.aspx

the function of this fire bus is entirely perfect
I'd never thought i'd ever see a video of one of these responding, great catch!
+BluelightTV Yeah I know right! Very rare. Only catch of one of these in the country ;)

BBC Midlands Today 6:30PM, BBC one.
+CobraEmergencyVideos it was in the Worcester news paper didn't hear about this one!Sorry can't watch it because we have to be some were by then sorry!

i love the Command Support Dennis Dart Bus, cheers!
It's cool! Thanks
bus for people that are late
Just a bit hahahahaha
That denifintely has an Australian siren. Hazard systems 2000 i believe, standard siren in Sydney
Lfb also has a rescue unit equipped with that siren
Was a shock - not seeing the fire truck, but the price of unleaded petrol in the esso garage, compared to March 2022.
Now when I look back at this video, that's what I see!

Sadly 418 no longer exists. It was replaced by 2 new smaller Mercedes Sprinter Command Units based at; Wyre Forest (248) & Ledbury (428) respectively
Nice catch, would imagine that unit is very rare!
Oh yes very very rare! One of a kind catch in the UK.
CobraEmergencyVideos - Europe nice!

It would be scary if you hear this passing your house around 2am when you are sleeping and living in a quiet street.
Now that's a big catch, great one :)
+RTobi (Rummeltobi) Thanks! It's awesome ;)

+Hibblejaybob Ahaha yep they're fancy those. But very useful for command situations.
I
With that venerable engine at the helm. Cummins B Series if my sources are correct
+BMWM3GTRLOVER yeah but i think it's transmition was either a zf or a voith if the latter that made my day
+BMWM3GTRLOVER Cummins B Series 145 BHP
correct ;-)
+Karen Occardi It's Allison
i thought so we had a dart V146 MVX its in motherwell and still sound the same a squeakytoy
Not easy to clear a passage in traffic with that !!
Nice video.
What camera do you use?
+Urgences Genève It sure isn't. A big red bus!
Thanks.
I use a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX300.
+CobraEmergencyVideos Thanks for information

Can't you tell? It's a bus body and a bus chassis. Therefore, a bus.
Spryte looks great as this. Couldn’t picture any others like it, Pointers, ALX200s or Nimbuses would look completely stupid.
Citaros, Tempos and Paladins would look nice too
For those interested this is still on the road saw it today at the Kelsall Steam Rally
My first bus driver sat at the traffic for 2 seconds before like
Great catch 🚒
Thanks for watching :)
I have never seen anything like it, superb catch Cobra! =D

On the back of the vehicle there are green, orange and red lights in the middle , what are they for ?
+l1nds290 They're to report the status of the incident well the vehicle is being used as a command point on the incident ground.
I'm asking them now on twitter what the specific colours mean.
+l1nds290 I asked on Twitter.
The fire station (@HWFireMalvern) that own this said that;
The lights refer to the tactical mode of the incident.
GREEN - Is used to tell the firefighters to be offensive on the ground
AMBER - Used to be used to show a transition between two statuses
RED - Is used to tell the firefighters to be defensive on the ground
Offensive means the firefighters can tackle the incident in the risk area (E.g. in the burning building)
Defensive means the firefighters have to tackle the incident from outside the risk area at a safe point (E.g. spraying water over a fence at a burning building)
Nice catch!
Thanks
Just before I clicked the play button, I heard a Command Support vehicle and several sirens passing my residence...

+BlaulichtBasel Thanks ;-)
didn't think they still made Dennis , thought it was all MAN or Mercedes
+Huw Jones No they don't. This one is from the year 2000. They stopped them in 2007.
It's mostly Scania now, and quite a few MANs, Mercedes & Volvos.
CobraEmergencyVideos Dennis Bus became TransBus International in 2001, and then Alexander Dennis in 2004. K
Yep that is very very rare fire engine bus!
+Princes Anna I know right, thanks!
