When someone goes missing, it’s never a straight line to answers. The process is full of twists, turns, dead-ends, and unexpected discoveries. We scoured through miles of waterways and rugged terrain, collaborating with local authorities and our expert team to leave no stone unturned.
For years, Steve’s family has wondered what happened after he left for that cabin in the Flaming Gorge. Our search brought us to places where hope once seemed lost, but persistence and teamwork kept driving us forward. Each piece of the puzzle matters-from reviewing old reports to retracing Steve’s last known movements. We had to remain vigilant, knowing that any small detail could change the entire course of the search.

Doug i asked Mike King if you guys could dive in Flaming Gorge. He told me the elevation is too high for diving. I know it's very deep and have heard there are fish big enough to swallow a human. Early big sturgeon also. A man went overboard a couple decades ago but they never have found him. Another guy was fishing 5 or so years ago and hooked a wallet which turned out to be the man who'd drowned many years before. His D.L. was still easy to read and they got it back to his family.
When do you think you will look into having merch? I hear channels make a lot off that.

HEY DOUG, In order to sonar an ice covered lake or pond, you must first fill a 5 gallon bucket with water. Then you stick your transducer in the bucket of water, and slide it around the lake just on top of the ice. You dont have to poke holes in the ice. This always work when I was young, and that was a long time ago... LoL
I have a friend that has been missing in a vehicle for 23 years. No one is looking for her anymore. I understand why Steven's brother drove out to be there. It means so much to know that someone cares and is doing something after so much time. I would drive halfway around the world and do anything I could to help someone who was looking for her. Thank you guys for what you do.

Josh is with Doug a lot he just doesn't show on cam all the time because of the lawsuit and it's not all the time, im sure once the lawsuit is done and Josh's baby is grown some more he'll be out with Doug more!
I think the reality is funding and how much money there is to go around for these guys to make a living. Stay solo and colab when it makes sense.

Doug, your kindness and perseverance are unmatchable. The way you speak with the families always touches my soul. You must have a heck of a wonderful wife and family behind you in support of your heart's desire to help others. The thoughts that were in Steven's head that day took him over, and I know it wasn't the first time his thoughts tried to tell him lies... My daddy took his own life, a week before my 18th birthday. I believe that God lets some folks come home early, if he didn't, something would have happened to change Steven's mind or he wouldn't have been able to achieve his aim. My heart goes out to his family, especially his kids. Keep his memories close, and talk to him when you feel like it, he'll let you know he's there, ever watchful over you. I'm sorry.

This stuff really pumps my jewels. Back in the day when loved ones went missing and couldn't possibly find where they were, like ww2 when their lived ones didn't come home and never found. You do such a good job, guys. awsome my grandfather was found after many decades being missing,, he was shot down over breast france 1944 ✌️
