- The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle, Washington, United States. Considered to be an icon of the city and the Pacific Northwest, it has been designated a Seattle landmark. Located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood, it was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair, which drew over 2.3 million visitors. Nearly 20,000 people a day used its elevators during the event.
City of Seattle in progress of modernizing all three elevators starting Q4 of 2024! Poor kid little confuzzled.. good thing operator kept things cool!
I been stuck in several elevators before
More of an inconvenience than anything though.
That's one of my fears getting stuck in a elevator..at least you have views and could break the glass if necessary. I guess.. wow..
No need to break glass here as fortunately you have a tour guide on duty reassuring you and more importantly radioing his colleagues on ground floor to fix the elevator.
How long did you guys end up being stuck for?
Long enough to give us all refunds. Maybe at least 30 minutes.
How did they get you out?
@@JacobTrowbridge315 Troubleshooting led to resetting the system.
I'm wondering when and if the drive machine and controller has been replaced. And in the case of the controller it would have been replaced with a digital logic controller from a relay controller which would have been originally installed.
You guys were stuck on my elevator, honestly I barely remember this, not cause it happens much, more cause it was boring, here's more often how the rides go:
