Hi, the max mine does is 47mph (when the battery is 90% and above) otherwise around 45 is the max. There is a green wire that you need to cut to make it unrestricted! The company I bought mine from cut the wire for me. There are videos on UA-cam to show how to do it yourself. Are you in the U.K.?
@@Sur-Ron but that voids the insurance doesn’t it? Or do you tell them it’s de restricted? Can you use a cbt on a provisional with it doing 45mph once restricted?
@@modipdl475 hi, yes it's classed as a 125cc when derestricted. And yes I told the insurance that it's derestricted. I only have a CBT but have a full drivers license
@@electricbikelife the only thing I changed was getting a tail tidy. Makes it so much better and more efficient. The way it came with the rear mudguard and license plate holder was like having a small air brake permanently
What’s the max this does? I’ve just got a 2022 road legal Sur ron but need to go today to collect it. I’m sure they’re restricted to 28mph?

@@Sur-Ron wicked thanks I’ll ask them to derestrict it too now when I collect mine. Thanks mate
Hey Pal, wondering if you can help, how much does it cost to tax and insure one of these for the year to be on the road legally?
Hi mate, the tax is free as it's electric. I currently pay £1000 fully comprehensive for insurance but I only have 1 year of no claims bonus.
@@Sur-Ron thanks for getting back to me on this. when insuring it, do your put it as a motorcycle or does it come under another category?
@@evieemaya88 it gets classed as an electric motorcycle
Didnt the police stop you for the angle of your number plate? In many European countries the plate cant be tilted more than 30 degrees.
I haven’t been stopped yet (done 700miles on road). I’ve gone passed loads of police. 🤞🏾
Did you get the road ready sur ron or are you on the dirt setup?
Road legal version
@@Sur-Ron that’s awesome, I had to convert mine to street but I like it so much more then dirt setup. Cool you got blinkers tho
@@electricbikelife you can usually find the parts on eBay really cheap 2nd hand
