She thought that's her faith, her destiny but her boyfriend came into her life and change everything. Bathala in english means God (Diyos or Panginoon has the same meaning but Bathala is not commonly used word in Filipino). They are both Christians. So maybe they met “At Church.” My translation of Moira’s song is about her past experiences. In the video, it shows her life story before she found her boyfriend/fiancé. Her father left her and all she has is her dad’s memories. She looks so sad and she also stated in her lyrics that she was asking why’s. Why did he leave? Why did he give up? Tagpuan is a song of hope having God as their strength and refuge.. Moira didn’t actually know that her bf will propose right there and then.

you should see the translation not the literal translation of the song but the real translation words are really deep it can cut your heart..some of the words tgere are not used in ordinary day-to-day filipino conversations...thats how she puts specialty in her songs...

Tagpuan means meeting place but here she also mentioned “Tagpuan ni Bathala” in the lyrics. Bathala in english means God (Diyos or Panginoon has the same meaning but Bathala is not commonly used word in Filipino). They are both Christians. So maybe they met “At Church.”
My translation of Moira’s song is about her past experiences. In the video, it shows her life story before she found her boyfriend/fiancé. Her father left her and all she has is her dad’s memories. She looks so sad and she also stated in her lyrics that she was asking why’s. Why did he leave? Why did he give up? Seeing her father leaving is the hardest and it makes a huge impact in her life before. But later on she met her boyfriend and they meet in God’s place. Then she stop asking why. The lyrics also stated “Tumigil ang mundo nung ako’y tinuro mo” in tagalog it means “My world stop when you point at me (other term: when you chose me).”
