Having kids and dogs, and from personal experience, I highly recommend you get the WeatherTech floor mats for your Sequoia. They work great on my 2010, we take ours in deep snow, sand , etc. and they keep those carpets well protected from it all.
Spoiler alert, while very enthusiastic and I appreciate you sharing... the miles driven and the total price per gas doesn't tell us a lot without how much per gallon so no one knows actual mgp
Plus tire size, tire type, air pressure amount, how heavy his rig is. So many factors really, even if you did the same route with the same vehicle, humidity and air temperature affect things or even if it was a windy or not.
I don’t understand… he went 1000miles and it cost him $440.00? That seems even more excessive than anticipated, even for this sequoia. He’s basically saying he used 151 gallons of gas on the trip which would amount to somewhere around 6 to 7 miles per gallon. That doesn’t sound right to me. Or am I wrong?

We drive from Florida to Vermont twice a year in a sequoia. Each trip add about 5k miles to the odometer. Lots of GA$.
Road trips in A Sequoia are COSTLY! but Comfortable!! 👍🏼
Oh the mpg is so bad, my mother doesn't even bother to count it on her 2018 Toyota Landcruiser anymore...she just puts gas in and drive....
to all Europeans - its 22/21 liters per 100km :)

Have you considered larger fuel tank? 38 gallon tank like the tundra?
Crack me u "Like it was a hallway" They are roomy. I have a 2nd Gen Platinum Sequoia also. The gas usage is correct.
It's nice to get out of town, but Santa Cruz area is 🔥. I don't think the military cares about MPGs
You don't buy a Sequoia for the mpg
Expansive SUV so don't worry about fuel

It was in Commie Cali. That checks.
I wish he would have just said the mpg. By just saying the price it hard to know if the truck has poor mpg or if the cost of gas is high.
You had me worried 😅
PT Cruiser Sequoia
what a ugly paint job! looks like a taxi paint job...lol
Looks stupid and they can't park!
