The reason why there are regionals here is because its an artificial enclosure and every single mon there was imported to the terarium. Its basically just a massive Safari Zone. Its also why mons that depend on technology to exist (such as Porygon, Cranidos and Shieldon) can also be regularly found in the wild here

Y'know, the camera not being fixed isn't the only unfortunate thing about this update. You know how pokemon spawn in the walls? Yeah, they still do that, but you can't target them anymore - only way to encounter them is to run into them, and there are pokemon who will run *away* from you. Oh, but don't worry, you can still clip the camera to see *inside* said walls as well so you can know for sure if you have a shiny out of reach :D

Once I heard synchro can knock out shinies I never even got the tool. I completely skipped that task lol
synchro mode is def worth it just stay away from shinies with it i failed a shiny rhyhorn with synchro
It’s the best worst feature, the fun you having running around is worth a couple shiny fails

You are not alone on Lanturn being one of your favorite Pokémon. I have loved it for quite a few years now
How dare you underestimate the Lanturn enjoyers. It was my first shiny hunt didn't even do an outbreak. I love Lanturn although I'll always keep wishing for a buff. I can always utilize him but still itd be awesome if he was a wee bit stronger or faster or bulky. In hesitate to want an evolution because i love it as is he just could really benefit from like 20 more stat points. Also I'm glad we share the same feelings about the Incaroar line.
As much as I might be disappointed in it’s competitive performance (well based on what I made its set), lanturn is just a gem! Whishcash and lanturn are both so unique, but I wish lanturn had something to boost itself like whishcash and dragon dance

Funnily enough, Inkay was MY first shiny in the dlc, at full odds. Not just that, not even a minute later, I found a shiny Tentacruel.

Perhaps the eggs evolved into the shorter form because of the location it was found? Eggs in the savannah will always be short no matter what, while eggs on the coast will always be the tall boys.
According to Austin John Plays you can only CATCH the alolan form but will never be able to evolve it into the alolan form

So I’ve still been hunting using the synchro machine and I think I figured out how to use it properly. The best way to use it is for Mass Outbreaks. Because you have direct control over your Pokemon, you can safely knock out the exact number you need before you get max odds. If you are hunting something like Minior, I don’t recommend using the synchro machine for it. However if you did find a shiny Pokemon, don’t touch it. I figured out you auto battle when you get really close to the Pokemon. So instead of moving close to it, you’ll want to click on the home button twice to open up the Switch’s camera. Zoom in so that way you can check if it’s shiny or not and if it is, then switch back to your character.
Additionally, you want to position the player character to the center of the outbreak as best as you can to avoid any shinies despawning.
Really hope they revert the shiny lock on the legendary Pokémon in a future update

I have failed two shinies thanks to syncro mode. I love the mode, but give us a chance to catch the shiny, otherwise the mode is practically useless
Went on a three day shiny drought, doing outbreaks, using sandwhiches, etc but today I caught a shiny lapras, shiny skorbunny, 3 shiny delibirds, and a shiny chimchar all in outbreaks. Then I went to go complete some quests for BP, and I found two random shinies in the span of 3 minutes, a shiny alolan eggecute (I can't spell it, help me) and a shiny slakoth
