He would’ve been slightly redeemable if he had at least taken some accountability. It's a TV show and it's not meant to portray all new moms, Hannah's character though is specifically written to not be ready for her pregnancy, it is unexpected after all from a fling she has while away on a writing piece. Plus, Hannah even acknowledges this by making a list of reasons why she can't have a child, one of them being she doesn't even act her age and she knows it. She's not perfect, I know that but to be so offended so easily is a bit much. She eventually starts to get the hang of it, but her character arc to have a baby came out of left field and it made her be unprepared for it that's what I'm trying to say and that Adam's ex was right about that.

It’s almost cliche example of 20 somethings. Maybe I don’t understand your point. If it was written as though she was a perfect new mom it would have been out of Hannah’s character and boring.
