www.landfishtv... Well tried a new location… Altona Pier, not a bad spot, very shallow until you get near the end. Was going well with a fish on the deck and more sighted until a Jetski came to bug me!

Hahaha, I know the feeling with jet skis I fish there for snapper with 30 pound braid and a surf rod so I can cast about 60+meters out towards the reef, all I know is that I wouldn’t want to be going 30 knots into braid....

I agree with you about BLoody jet skees I have trouble with kayak while rock fishing in Coffs they cut in close and pis you off

Wouldn't mind having one to fish off but the rev heads that generally use them are highly annoying to fisherman. Haha
Tried there a few times with little luck. Have only seen others getting garfish, and I've spotted squid around the pylons along the left side

Yeah those jet ski riders are a different breed.
I had to report half a dozen of them one day cause they were circling a pod of whales and their pups..only about 10m away from them.
All the onlookers were also disgusted at the BRO’S

Last time i was there under the peir all you could see was whiting bream toadies and huge mullet

Watching 2 years on and i love messing with the idiots here on jetski's that ignore the rules in the pumistone passage, i take a ipad out with me and have a image that just reads "i have your rego slow down or it goes to the police" normaly stops them, what makes it better is i can get good photos with my ipad and big dslr with its 55 to 250 zoom lens that i make highly visable.

4 knots within 50 metres. But the further away from the pier the harder it is to get attention lol.

Hey Lincoln, what place u recommend in Melbourne for fishing in July. Tried Barwon river last weekend but no luck.
Moosa Raza what were you using at the Barwon? It's a little bit an miss this time of year mate. Target salmon and move around heaps till you find them and I recken you will pick up a few.

Jetski did nothing wrong he was outside the 5 knot zone and more than 50m away from the pier in enclosed waters you are purely a hater towards jetskis cos all you can afford is a fishing rod to entertain yourself
