  • Zamzam Water Filling Point: Gate No. 310, Masjid Nabawi
Zamzam water holds a deeply significant place in Islamic tradition and culture. It originates from the Zamzam well located within the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. According to Islamic belief, the well was miraculously provided by Allah for Hagar, the wife of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), and their son Isma'il (Ishmael), when they were left in the desert. It's considered a blessed and sacred water source, often consumed by pilgrims during the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, and also revered by Muslims worldwide.
Scientifically, Zamzam water is known to contain minerals beneficial for health. The Saudi authorities regulate its distribution and ensure its purity. Many Muslims believe in its spiritual and healing properties, and it's customary for pilgrims to take some Zamzam water home as a blessed souvenir.
