    That’s exactly what I did with mine was cut a barrel to that length as it definitely seemed to be more consistent and looked better.

      I don't understand why Worker didn't release more Barrels with the Seagull... a 250, 280 and maybe a 340mm, that would've been great. Same goes for the Harrier... a 480-500mm would be needed

    I thought for sure 280 spring plus 310 barrel was gonna be the sweet spot. Well, you live, you learn :)

    So let's recap.
    With the 280 spring & 310 barrel you are getting a min of 174 and a high of 178 for an average of 176.
    With the 280 spring & 260 barrel you are getting a min of 164 and a high of 172 for an average of 169.
    Yet the shorter barrel is more balanced? Please explain your reasoning because I don't understand.

      My comment was mostly toward the 250mm spring...Taking on 1 high 1 low to get avg isn't exact... But so far the deviation from 1 shot to the other is way closer with the 260mm.... the 310mm barrel is more fit for the 1.6x250mm spring as the included spring are a bit weak (for the 250 mostly).... I basically just added a new option for tuning my blaster. Oh yeah, I didn't talk too much about the scar, but with the 260 and the scar you basically get the 310mm number... wich is a plus, since using the included scar on the 310 will drop your FPS.

      Ok so let me ask you something else that I'm unsure of right now.
      Stronger springs go with longer barrels, and longer springs are gonna be stronger because of pre-compression, yes or no?

      @thatoldnerfguy  9 місяців тому +1

      Yes, in most case (depending on the spring "Wire" size), Precompression will hit harder. The goal here is to find the best balance(in my case)...I like to optimize on the weak spring, my blaster tend to live longer. As for "FPS Race" I don't see the point on a CQB blaster like the seagull...if I want FPS, I take the Baize with a 2mm wire spring(from Aliexpress) and my Worker 550mm barrel to hit 430+. Over that, as good as the Seagull is, if I play CQB, I usually use my Viper @175 ish FPS (high 185)@@runkurgan

      Thank you for confirming that rule and thank you for the added explanation. I know fps means 0 without accuracy. And (I also believe) is worth even less if it ruins your blaster.
      At my age I've learned the difference between "could I" and "should I".
      Gonna edit this comment when I get in front of my computer because I want to make sure that what I have to add is correct.
