I mean realistically I think they’re going for the being shot and being out of the fight approach in onward which is how it works in real life so I can’t be mad with it fr. Onward is a more “realistic” interpretation of gunfights I’d say compared to contractors

Depends on the distance, you can shoot accurately without the sight up to about 50ft (16ish meters)

After that its too unpredictable (in real life)
But in game it might be different cause its hitscan

@@xxxod in game the reason you can use it at longer distances is because
1. Iron sights are impossible to use in vr because it’s so shaky, so you have better aim point shooting
2. Ammo isn’t as much of a worry in most games so it takes more shots to kill the person but it doesn’t really matter
Also, in most vr shooters they use projectiles not hitscan

Tbf a longer ttk is better imo. The hit scan is terrible in every VR shooter. Being one shot by the guy you shot 4 times (but the game didn’t pick up on it) sucks.
You get a fighting chance with pavlov at least.
