You'd be surprised at how many people have no idea what they might need to bring to the range. Post-it notes and 3x5 cards are a staple on a lot of my targets. Clips and Sticks for the stands as well. Nice basic range day video.
Range bags and kit......big bag=bring lots of stuff. That being said everyone's needs are different and you gotta do you. Keep putting out the good word Spiritus Adam(s) !!!
Don’t forget a range finder for zeroing. Binoculars help see your hits without going down range every string if fire of sharing outdoor ranges with others. Range Maxx makes a screwdriver with multiple bits - Allen, torx, etc that covers most bases for optics or mounts. AK front sight adjustment tool if running AK. A multi tool for pliers, file. Load your mags and mark them with paint marker for identification to differentiate from classmates/ range members Impact drill with wood screws for securing 1x3 boards on wood H bases. Clips to hold targets to 1x3 like shown in video. Spray paint for steel targets in preferred color depending on back drop ie: Dirt or snow. Light colors work best.
For AR shooters, you can bring different buffer weights, different types of mags, or even an extra BCG. Using these can help to diagnose/solve potential malfunctions. I also bring different types of ammo for the same purpose.
Don't forget a trowel. You could also pack a converted 5gal bucket as a portable shitter. There are even kits to do that. I rely on a crippling fear of killing a toilet in public to keep my bowels in check when I'm not at home. I'd like to emphasize the "crippling" part of the fear equation.
@@ethanh3421 Oh no no, you wouldn't carry that in your ruck. Carry it in your vehicle or in your hand (empty preferably). And if that don't work for you situation, then disregard.
I use a large tough box with wheels to cart my stuff around. It’s mostly waterproof and provides a place for two people to sit or as a workbench. It’s only about a third full, but then I can keep my body armor and rifle out of sight at a gas station/restaurant.
I've been shooting for nearly 20 years. Do I need to watch a video on what to bring to the range? No. But will I watch it anyway because it's spiritus systems. Yes.
Having a "trauma kit" doesn't help much unless you or someone present actually knows how to treat the kinds of trauma that could happen. Where do you go for the training to actually competently use a trauma kit? I tried searching for my area and all I see is CPR training. Which isn't a bad idea to have a well but that doesn't normally include trauma care.
Dark Angel Medical is a training company that puts on that type of training. darkangelmedical.com/training/ You could also see if North American Rescue puts on a "Stop The Bleed" class near you.

Thank you for the video. Respect from Ukraine !!!
One thing I didn’t see you mention at all was sandbags. Not always needed but definitely handy for different things. Great video!
Sure. There a tons of things that could be scaled up on your range kit depending on what you're focusing on.
Best “what to bring to the range” vid I’ve seen. Well done Tall Adam. 👊🏼🇺🇸
I just love the idea of trouble going down at the range and reaching for the stapler. Ha!

Wish I had this video 6 years ago lol. My bag is nearly identical but had to learn the hard way every time. Oh well 🤷🏻♂️

You don't need someone to teach you how to build wood lockers. You probably just need to stop watching porn
