Niki Lauda: "In the Austrian Grand Prix it was uh, unbeleivable. It didn't go to plan at all because Prost was in the lead, thank god he crashed." Classic Niki Lauda.
Elio De Angelis broke his engine and the oil of his Lotus was all over the track mainly in the last corner of the Österreichring. When the leaders reached that sector Piquet was P1 and he almost spin but somehow he managed to control his Brabham. Prost was right behind Piquet in second place and he couldn't avoid the spin over that amount of oil. End of story.
You prolly dont care but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
Piquet always used to joke like that with Prost. Real old legends of F1. It doesn't even seem that long ago watching them in the 80s. Time really does fly by quickly.
Piquet grabbing Prost by the balls was really funny, these days drivers were characters not just sponsor puppets that always speak the same at every interview
***** *The FIA Corrected you there. Hell not even Formula E is this greedy, especially not because they allow you to see a race *FOR FREE*. Now that's what i call being nice.
mcstyle24 In all honesty, these were the eighties. Schumacher wasn't a part of the eighties, but it would have been interesting to see what he would have turned out to be.
I went to Brazil to watch the Grand Prix, i was amazed to see how many people loves Nelson there, much more than Emerson, maybe it was just the people i talked to jaja
I've always been a fan of Nelson. Until the moment I watched an interview with him when he was asked who was the better driver: [then late] Ayrton Senna or him. The answer he gave was telling us everything: not just about their rivalry, but also Piquet's complete lack of respect and humanity. I lost my respect for Piquet.
Love to see all these legends many years later still together, being good friends and remembering every races they had, with this joyful music in the background ❤
3:41 you can see rosberg closing his ears, and the cars are not in full boost and high rpm, that means that those v6 turbo made A LOT better sound than today.
I think everybody would like to see the entire footage from the cars and their matadors out of the track. You don't need to much work on it, just simple the raw video material. :-))))
Two McLaren MP4/2's, and both champions driving. THAT was a race car. Not just competitive for the 3 years it raced, 3 consecutive driver titles....the MP4/4 gets more hype, but I think this one deserves it more.
I cried a lot cause I wish Senna was there too.. I would love to see both Lauda and Prost if Senna was still around on that specific time. Senna is a mystical driver.

The only thing missing was Senna's McLaren MP4/4
And of course... Ayrton himself :(

LCardoso17 Yes that Mclaren Honda was the best in the Turbo Era
I would give my life to see all this guys plus ayrton goin around there... to be there, to see all those legends together...
And the F2004
And Ayrton himself, I'm sure he was looking down from up there, so happy to see them down there
Reals Cars.. Reals Drivers.. amazing generation of drivers
agree
Hmmm yes because modern drivers aren't actually drivers, but riders, and the modern cars are not cars, but motorbikes
2:33 bit of a PROSTate exam going on there
I'm dying xDxD
Nelson never seized to be the joker of the pack. Prost was often the victim in the 80ies already.. ;)
Piquet! 😂👍

Senna was so serious guy he would not like to be object of Piquet`s pranks again.
I`m afraid Gilles would be banned taking part of the events, he would destroy too many historic cars.

My sport heroes right there. I miss these Sunday mornings.
Piquet trolling as usual lol
Classic Nelson Piquet right there 2:30. Such a shame media in Brazil made this guy the "evil" one... Outside Brazil hes funny, very nice person.
The media is overrated in any country, just as Piquet is funny in any country.

The '83 Brabham is unquestionably the best looking F1 car of all time
Indeed it is. Colour scheme is perfect, shape is perfect and it's very simplistic.
The red and white helmet from Piquet also helped a lot. The mix was just amazing, even though I prefer the '84 car (Brabham BMW BT53)
The BMW brabham really were beautiful
Nelsão, um lenda.
It's really a thing when you see those iconic pair of eyes under a helmet. Brings some awesome memories! #F1Legends #feelsgood #singingengines
