- What If Uncle Iroh Trained Anakin Skywalker? Let’s explore the depths of this scenario in the video.
Yoda sits peacefully atop the ruins of an ancient temple, practicing his breathing exercises until he sees a figure approaching. An old man appears from the rocks, holding a pai sho board.
General Iroh smiles and sets it down. Yoda picks up a White Lotus tile and places it down at the center of the table.
Yoda: I see you favor the White Lotus Gambit. Not many still cling to the ancient ways.
Iroh: Welcome brother, the White Lotus opens wide to those who know her secrets.
As they finish the exchange, the two friends smile and embrace. They begin playing their game, but Iroh senses something is off with Yoda and clears his throat between moves.
Iroh: Something tells me that there is more on your mind than this game.
Yoda: Troubled, I am. Though your world is at peace, much turmoil there is in the galaxy. More complicated things have become since Qui-Gon returned with this boy.
Iroh: Boy?
Yoda explains how Qui-Gon Jinn found a boy on Tatooine who he believes is the Chosen One. But he is reckless and too old to be a youngling.
If it's true, he needs to learn more than just using the Force or handling a lightsaber. Anakin requires spiritual nourishment and wisdom.
Yoda: A master, this boy needs. One thing it was when Qui-Gon was alive, but without him...
Iroh: You want me to train him.
Yoda:reminds me of zuko, he does. Ashamed I am to ask you this but troubled this galaxy is.
Iroh sits back in his chair and sighs. The Hundred Year War had just ended, and he hopes to live out his days in the Jasmine Dragon. But as he looks at the worry in his friend's eyes, he understands that Yoda would not make this request lightly.
Slowly, Iroh reaches out and grips his friend's shoulder, promising him that he will help.
Together, the two begin planning Anakin’s training. Anakin will be trained by Obi-Wan, but Iroh will be a spiritual guide for him.
This creates a healthier balance for him. Obi-Wan is stern, sarcastic, and traditional, pushing Anakin hard to surpass both him and his master. This means drilling Anakin relentlessly in both the Force and lightsaber combat.
In contrast, Iroh takes a more patient and casual approach with Anakin. While obiwan puts Anakin through physical training, they usually meditate or learn about chi and spirituality.
Iroh explains that he comes from a world with an unusual relationship with the Force where most Force-sensitive individuals harness the Living Force through the elements.
He teaches Anakin that while most people can only harness one element, learning should not be limited to one area. The same is true with using the Light and Dark Side of the Force.
Anakin: Are you saying I should harness the dark side?
Iroh: Not quite. I’m saying there is something to gain by understanding it. Your emotions will always be there, even the less pleasant ones. Only by facing them can you truly conquer them.
Iroh channels lightning and launches it across the sky to prove his point. Though he pants heavily, he appears untouched by the dark side.
Watching this, Anakin develops a deep respect for his master. In many ways, it helps validate Anakin’s feelings, allowing him to feel comfortable expressing himself, at least to Iroh. While Obi-Wan might be his older brother figure, Iroh behaves more like a surrogate father to him.
This plays an important role as Anakin's next mission is to protect Padme, an old friend. As they spend more time together, the two begin to develop feelings for each other. Although Obi-Wan remains adamant about focusing on the mission, Anakin feels comfortable enough to confide in Iroh about it.
To his surprise, the general is supportive of Anakin’s feelings.
Iroh: Perfection and power are overrated. I think you are very wise to choose happiness and love.
Anakin: Y-you really believe so?
Iroh: I am no Jedi so I am not familiar with the dogma they follow, but I do know that joy is something rare in the galaxy and one should never be shamed for pursuing it.
Anakin: But what about my duty? What about my role in bringing balance?
Iroh: Are you dedicated to this mission?
Anakin: I am.
Iroh: Then you will find a way.
Iroh: I don’t know the answer. Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You can’t always see the light at the end of the tunnel. But if you keep on moving, you will come to a better place.
The two of them embrace and Anakin secretly marries Padme with Iroh as a witness. Although he feels attached to Padme, his talk with Iroh resolves him to carry out his mission, and none too soon, as shortly after, the Clone Wars begin .
Although not a Jedi, Iroh still offers his help as a strategist and leader. He proves to be a brilliant general. His strategies and connections to the White Lotus helps him lead Republic armies across several worlds. When he does enter the battlefield, Iroh’s fire bending is unmatched by anyone. - Розваги

The only ones comparable, off the top of my head, are Plo-Koon, Shak Ti, Qui-Gon and (good) Dooku.
The whole damn council sat across from Darth Sidous and they were clueless to the fact a Sith Lord was directly in front of them

Iroh is a good depiction of someone who is into the unifying force as Jinn is of the living force.
I think you forgot Uncle Iroh can Lightning Bend. He taught Zuko so Palpatine would probably be surprised when he tried using Force Lightning on him.

A firebender training the chosen one. Imagine that🤣 this was a very good video. But Sidious easily dividing up Anakin and the Jedi reminds me of what Dooku told Obi-Wan when Obi-Wan was captured on Genosis:

The Jedi should've left Iroh alone cuz it seemed like Iroh's guidance was helping Anakin grow and its sad the Jedi stuck with tradition
Also, if I’m being honest, if Anakin and Azula fight, Anakin would be here because he knows more about the dark side than she does and her father say that he wouldn’t get a chance against the hero with no fear

It was awesoem where it was on Avatar Earth and where Aang, and his friends show up and assist the Jedi. and how Iroh turned Anakin back to the Light side and defeat Palpatine. Iroh was an awesome guide. I make stories combining Star Wars and The Last Airbender.

I really enjoyed this concept and how you chose to execute it. Bending being a way of channeling the force was a really cool concept and with the galaxy as large as it is i can easily see the atla world being a part of it. However, I was a little disappointed to see that a lot of iroh's lines were recycled from the show. Especially since you made a point to state that the events of tla happened as normal in this story. Though I can't exactly blame you for struggling to match iroh's wisdom, even people who have spent years with him can hardly do any better. I do understand how anakin was meant to be similar to zuko, but his path diverted slightly at the end. He wasn't able to find his way back on his own, as it took iroh's direct involvement for anakin to return the light, so that line in particular struck me as odd. Overall it was a nice story, I just thought it could be better with more original lines from iroh to match the star wars theme

This might be a little different. What if Anakin learned about the story of Arthus from WoW. After all, there stories are very similar. 2 Prodigies with promising futures get corrupted by great evils. In the end they join the side that they fought against and end up killing everything they once fought for. As for how Anakin learned about this, I can see it being a story he came across in the Jedi Library or one of his masters tells him about this. Or he is sent to a dead frozen world and finds the Linch King on his frozen throne and learns it from him.

The characters from Avatar the legend of ang being set in the star wars galaxy has got to be one of the most intriguing and thought provoking ideas for a star wars what if I've ever seen on UA-cam. Are you considering doing anymore what if's like this. If so please consider marvel or dc as each has it's own multiverse. So why not a dimension that has in it the star wars galaxy, an earth that is marvel and another earth that is dc. Just a thought for others to ponder. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.

It’s crazy how if ya think about it, the avatar verse could make sense if say it was a planet in the unknown regions, the avatar cycle itself just being the force conjoining into one person kinda like the chosen one and chi just being the force/midiclorians but they’ve named it and known it as chi . The more I think about it the more it makes sense in my mind.

What’s ironic is Yoda is the closest character to Iroh but Yoda is more close minded, arrogant, and still has much to learn about people especially in communities. Yoda’s strengths is emotional intelligence like Iroh’s but his ability to comprehend the system needs major improvement. Iroh has experience working in the system and understands what roles needs to be filled and what choices to make the best impact for the people. The Jedi are all about knowledge and defense, such is the way of peacekeepers whereas Iroh, like Qui-Gon are more about open-mindedness, about the people, and listen within from nature and be guided by it. Iroh observed other elements and respected their traditions and values whereas the Jedi think their way is the only way. There’s so much similarities and differences here between these characters, what’d you guys think?

What if the experiment that plagueis and palpatine conducted that resulted in Anakin being born, ended up creating multiple chosen ones as the forces way of trolling plagueis and palpatine?
Alright, so unfortunately I was a bit over hyped at first. There were come cool elements with this, but basically the exact same story unfolds for the most part. Personally I would have expected a more positive outcome in Anakin's life. I did enjoy some of the crossovers and themes from them but I just saw this playing out very differently. Please keep experimenting with fun ideas though, out of all of the fan fictions no one has been this brazen and creative to try something so different and seemingly unrelated

Anakin Skywalker would be able to use Force Fire if Uncle Iroh trained Anakin Skywalker.
What if Revan wasn't found in stasis until the first year of the clone wars? That would mean that Revan in his prime would be alive and well, and Darth Vitiate's spirit would still be dormant since Revan didn't awake his spirit at Yavin.

I sometimes see stories like this, and I can't help but wonder if it were me in the same situation as Anakin.
For me, I would've realized that Palpatine was the reason why Iroh was forced away. I'd use that as leverage(as I'd be partially corrupted by the dark side). Windu would find himself killed, or he would let Iroh return to guiding me, at that window. Windu would have to choose who my master would be - the sith lord, or the former fire lord?
He would be the best Uncle iroh would be the best both at training Anakin and Luke they really need to be trained buy them in order to you know even in the original trilogy Luke needed another teacher just in case they would be turned to the dark side just in case store a New Hope would be destroyed so yeah Uncle iroh would be a very good choice on saving Luke and Leia if something were to happen to them but either the emperor or by Vader or buy another threat for any other threats in the galaxy also uncle iroh the boy Anakin requires a father and you're the perfect one

Its a good thing Knightfall Anakin wasnt at the Jedi Temple. Powerful as Avatar Aang is, Anakin, especially a dark side Anakin, would scale way above him in strength and speed.
The last thing we need is for Anakin to kill Aang, we dont need more of Korra..
