Hm... after looking through your AMV catalogue, here's my analysis: the longer the video, the more niche the appeal. If you're just making these mostly for yourself and sharing them with the internet afterwards, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that at all, keep doing you.
But if you're attempting to appeal to a wider audience, if you like seeing numbers go up (view count in particular), try for shorter songs in the 2-3 minute range. 4 minutes max. The best AMVs tend to do this. For one, shorter and tighter videos are re-watchable, leading to repeat viewers and higher numbers. For two, limiting yourself to 3 minutes forces you to pick the most impactful moments of the fight, trimming the fat until it's super solid. If it's 10 min long, you may as well watch the original episode and fight sequence instead. 10 minute AMVs typically only appeal to the super fans of the original manga/anime. Again, nothing wrong with that if you're making these mostly for your own enjoyment. But if you want mass appeal, you'll have to learn how to make shorter, faster-paced, harder-hitting AMVs.
