The Lady Dior is most definitely my favorite. It is so classy. It can be dressed up or down. People got a little quiet on it a few years ago, but they are beginning to recognize it again. It is a forever classy bag.
I am not at all surprised that the Lady Dior has come out as the top most desirable handbag from your survey. I personally prefer the Lady D to a Chanel bag because I find it to be more elegant, classy, feminine and versatile with its timeless shape, its quilted design, various sizes and quality of its leather. You may heard the expression attributed to Audrey Hepburn that 'Paris is always a good idea', and in that vein, so is a Lady Dior handbag.
If I were to only have one luxury handbag, my choice would be the Chanel classic flap in medium size. I think it's classy & versatile - not too structured, not too casual, so you can wear it with any outfit. You can wear it to a more formal dinner event, or to going out shopping in your joggers.

Finally someone who likes the business affinity more than the classic flap like me. It was my first ever chanel bag and one of my favs. The lady dior is such a classy bag. I’m glad to have one in my collection. I went the preloved route because I like the zipper better than the flap.
LD was my 2nd to last classic piece in my collection and I ❤️ her so much. She's just sitting pretty as can be like the queen of the closet, next to the K25 and B25. I'm glad she's making the list again but not surprised. Thanks for sharing!
I have the Chanel Business Affinity bag and it is one of my favorite forever bags as well. I also have the Lady Dior-a vintage medium black patent version-that I’m in love with. Two bags I’ll never part with! (The Chanel Business Affinity bag is definitely more functional though.)
Great video - shocked about the Lady Dior- I had one and sold it - and lost money. This was 4 yrs ago but I still feel it does not hold its value. The leather does hold up very well but the charms do not. After just a few weeks of wear they have many scratches due to the rubbing against each other. Plus It was not easy to get in and out of and really did not go well with my casual outfits, I have the small LouLou, Chanel 19, medium classic flaps and business affinity and absolutely agree with those. Not surprised the Birkin did not make the list - I am not a fan at all.

I an surprised that there isn’t a LV- bag in this ranking list, because I would also rate the Capucines ( I have two of them in my collection)
For me, I prefer CFs and minis way much more than any other bags but specially over the BAffinity. I agree with many of the bags listed here, the C19 is a great bag even in the large size, I also get lots of compliments on mine. Btw, the business affinity in the small size like yours is now more than double of the small CF ☹️😰 it is now $4,900. I am shock about the Lady Dior 🤔😳Great video!

I’m new to the luxury handbag world and bought a Louis Vuitton Marelle tote and I love her. Very simple and a bit understated. I was looking to get one more and I fell in love with a YSL small Loulou black leather with black hardware. I made the purchase last month and I’m obsessed. It’s so comfortable and practical. I bought her used and I’m so happy with the purchase. 10/10 recommend the YSL Loulou
My guess for coming in the 1st place, LV Tote MM size? Yes, i love the Chanel 19. Had mine in small black. Is very practical and easy to get in and out. I love the Business Affinity too but also not easy to get since it is seasonal bag. Hope to get one. Just got my classic flap. Love the look but not the functionality but still so happy to have at least 1 in my collection. Yes YSL Lou Lou and the puffer are great too. Great video.

Didn’t buy my first luxury hand bag until I was there at 46 years old. No debt. House paid. Bills paid. Kids education paid. To each their own …. But well done. I always tell young people. Once bills are paid and you have the money in the bank (not on credit) to pay for that bag twice over, then treat yourself. Otherwise , wait. 👏👏👏👏 Financial independence and self accomplishment are much better than carrying a bag you can’t afford. Keep it as a reward or goal.
On that list, I own 2 Chanel 19, 2 classic flaps and the Lady Dior. I had a medium loulou but it was way too big. I would say my most practical is definitely the Chanel 19. The most beautiful is the my D Lite. As far as the Kelly, I’m sorry but I’m team Birkin. I see the Kelly as a not practical bag, if it was practical people wouldn’t leave their bag open all the time. The Birkin is such a great tote bag, I’m obsessed with mine and would love to add an other one. It’s easy access, not too heavy, just perfect. 💕 I don’t own a business affinity but I see it in my future.

I recently sold a mini rectangle because it was in lambskin and I was too afraid to use it, so now I would like a small business affinity to replace it as a cute crossbody but more carefree due to the caviar leather. I prefer bags that I dont have to baby or stress about so I will stay away from the lady dior and trendy cc due to the delicate material. Love the YSL Loulou, its my most worn bag (toy size)
I'm not a fan of Dior bags at all. Love the Chanel classic flap but it has to be a single flap (so I buy preloved, in excellent condition), and since I love big bags the jumbo and maxi are my favourites. Now I'm eyeing the XXL flap which I prefer to the 19 (more unique as well). Used to love the Chanel Boy but completly changed my mind and now I really love the classic flap. It's more versatile and can be edgy as well, it all depends on how you wear it.
I guess I’m behind a few years because I’m fighting to get either YSL sunset satchel or college. Not sure if I’ll ever have Chanel but I’d go for CC trendy or Boy bag.

I feel like the lambskin looks nicer, but the grained calfskin feels a lot less intimidating for everyday use. Thoughts please?

Yes you're right. I think sometimes LV's range is so broad, people did want LV bags but not on style came through enough to make it on to the list.

Hey! Yes it does tip over as it’s front heavy. I keep mine on stands and they’re perfect for that and bag hooks when out.
Wholly uninterested in Chanel. Delveaux, Moynat and Hermes have handmade quality can command those prices, not Chanel.

@@Handbagholic The Loewe Puzzle Hobo shoulder bag is on the top of my wish list. Loewe also came out with a puffer bag collection but might be too trendy for my boring taste!!! Right now my favorite bag to use is my puzzle bag and longchamp backpack! Will be enjoying my LV speedys and graceful in the fall :-)
