Until I hear her speak, I always asumed that she was a diva of theatre - based purely on the only thing I've seen her in which was Home Alone 3. Being born in 1998 doesn't excuse me from having a narrow minded point of view - but she really was a marvellous woman and her voice sends chills through my spine, lovely lady
An amazing person. Her love of life, of humanity, and the precious gifts of this world shine through her words and gestures. Combine that with brilliance, talent and grace, and you get a tiny glimpse of the life that she lived. I had only heard her voice in radio performances prior to today, and had been captivated by what I heard in her voice. It's clear now that even in such a limited format, she left not even a drop of her energy and talent on floor.
Over the years, I find myself coming back to this, usually in those restless moments, or laborious undertakings, sometimes in the dead of night unable to commit to slumber. It gives so much. If you are an artist, a performer, or just a human being, with self realised feelings and an open but critical mind (rare these days), Marion's thoughts "on acting" are a gift indeed (as some have point out), transcending the topic itself, with an ability to be applied to all parts of being. Her wisdom is such, that one can't help be inspired to find their best self, against all odds, within the illusion, the dreams and the lies, of our times, and still make it happen. "As an amount of time goes by, and you are a different person, you get a chance all the time, - to be somebody else -"
A VERY INTERESTING AND INFORMATIVE INTERVIEW FOR ASPIRING ACTORS BY A WELL- KNOWN ACTRESS. HER ADVICE REGARDING THE CLASSICS AND HER EDUCATION ARE VERY VALUABLE BUT UNFORTUNATELY MANY OTHER ACTORS ARE UNAWARE OF THIS.
This woman is a gift! So underrated as an actor and as a person. She is the real deal. A teacher, a magician, a pure soul! Love you Marion. RIP
Every acting student should religiously listen to this. It’s such a gift! So much truth there! The gospel according to Marion!!!
