The only reason to watch him again was to see if he could do something stupider than he did last time. But, as a mime, he's definitely not Marcel Marceau (in fairness, no-one is) But in case you didn't know - he's not a street performer looking for his big break. He's originally from New Zealand and has his own show in Britain. And the Clairvoyants are already famous - they travel the world performing their act. Fact is, with the exception of Sal, all the adult finalists have established careers in the entertainment business (and that includes Brian Crum whose sob story was pretty much made up out of whole cloth - he was getting called out for being a poseur on Twitter - don't think his reactions helped his standings)
Sam Adams-- I realize that Tape Face is not in the same league as Marcel Marceau. (Incidently, when Marceau was asked who he thought was the best mine he said it was Red Skelton. Of course Skelton said the same about him) I thought it was refreshing, even though his act was insane, to see an artist of the old school plying his wares.
TapeFace is a comedian, not Mime! Those are 2 different things. He's sort of going by Buster Keaton, he was a silent comedian that was in movies. The acts that he was doing on the show, he was giving us a little taste of what he can do because he wants you to see him in person and also the acts that he does, he does them so you feel like a kid again. Now he got exposure from American fans that love him!
I don't know why I cried. She's just so young but is more mature than a forty year old. She deserves this massively and I know she'd spend the money correctly, as in put some towards charity. Not that it's the correct way but she'll help someone out. Also the fact that she doesn't know that she's famous amazes me. She's so humble. Again, she deserves this so much. Also I'm younger than her by a year which is crazy as she seems so much older.

I think people need to realize that most "magic" is the same with every magician out there. Every magic act involves coincidence and guessing and chance and setup. Most common magic props are: cards, books (specifically pages in the book in question), and a thumper (I think it's called that at least). No magician can actually cast a spell and poof a bunch of candy appears. There's always the same gimmick behind most magic acts. While singers are the select few who have a good voice and can create something with that voice and just "cast" a certain atmosphere.

Now he got exposure from American fans that love him!
I don't know why I cried. She's just so young but is more mature than a forty year old. She deserves this massively and I know she'd spend the money correctly, as in put some towards charity. Not that it's the correct way but she'll help someone out. Also the fact that she doesn't know that she's famous amazes me. She's so humble. Again, she deserves this so much. Also I'm younger than her by a year which is crazy as she seems so much older.

They don't have X Factor in the US and American Idol had it's last season earlier this year. They still have The Voice but she's to young to enter. It's a talent show and (of course) singing is a talent.
She's a singer-songwriter ... So half her talent is songwriting. Most of the shows you mentioned are either no more (American Idol ended) or don't let people sing their own songs.

I think people need to realize that most "magic" is the same with every magician out there.
Every magic act involves coincidence and guessing and chance and setup.
Most common magic props are: cards, books (specifically pages in the book in question), and a thumper (I think it's called that at least).
No magician can actually cast a spell and poof a bunch of candy appears.
There's always the same gimmick behind most magic acts.
While singers are the select few who have a good voice and can create something with that voice and just "cast" a certain atmosphere.
