    This channel is gold dust and the reason I can resume training at age 58.

    Doing this with a 25lbs club where an inside circle and outside circle count as one rep for 10 reps and 3 sets. This massively lights up your core.

    Your videos are great mark. Thanks so much. I’m thinking of getting a heavy club. What weight would you recommend? I have a 12kg mace and can 4 min of shield cast. Thanks

    Hi Mark. I love your videos. I've recently suffered a broken foot and been away from my favourite sports for a few months now. I've been watching your content and the basis of your training, not to just help in our chosen sports but to help us live a healthier, fitter and balanced life is very inspiring. I'm currently saving up to buy a kettlebell and club and look forward to beginning my new training journey! As an aside, what shoes/boots are you wearing? Can I purchase some in the UK? Many thanks!

    You know the way that on a kettlebell swing you can let the weight fall and guide the eccentric, or use an overspeed eccentric, as an advanced technique.
    Is the 'accelerate' terminology in the video, an analogous overspeed technique, rather than just guiding the falling club until the pull?
    Reason being, havent heard it expressed this way [ accelerate ] before.

    • @Travishibachi87
      @Travishibachi87 23 дні тому +1

      Based on my own experience and how Mark coaches I would say yes. Accelerate means we're going to generate force in a speedier manner with "decelerate" indicating we should be able to absorb force or forces equally well. More faster-er, more better-er 😉💪

    • @cioran1754
      @cioran1754 23 дні тому +1

      @Travishibachi87 yes it looked that way in this video, it's not explicitly differentiated here, or hasn't appeared as a coaching technique in the original clubbell programmes AFAIK, this would make sense as generating an acceleration seems advanced, the forces generated, by club load fall, just with gravity, still does plenty !
      Still it just got me considering when you'd use it. For grappling training maybe !
      No worries :)

      @@cioran1754 All I hear is "push, swing, pull, catch" during anything I'm doing. I could be driving, I could be brushing my teeth. It doesn't matter. Push. Swing. Pull. Catch. Exhale everywhere. Don't hit yourself in the face. Rinse and repeat 🙂👍
