Parcels es ufffff
eso mero
Esa! Es!
I envy the people who can listen to this for the first time.
I'm one of them
Here I am.
Same here and it's so, so very good! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
it was an experience
Same
Beatles + Daft Punk + Bee Gees = Parcels
Beatles? Wtf? Only for jules sure.
Very accurate😂
You're so right
spider man on drums
@@zemusicologia537 tom holland.
the singer looks like every one of the Beatles all combined into one person
CAN NOT UNSEE
More so Frank Zappa. Dude literally copies his mannerisms and all
Every one? This dude is George! XD
Reminded me of George during the Pepper era
sure does
Patrick is so unbelievably good in this
0:20 kicks it off with the sick bass line
0:50 introduces a sound that just grabs your attention
1:39 complete bassline riffage
2:33 elevates the dynamic
2:51 passes the bassline to Noah and picks up the keyboard line from louie
4:32 the triangle
5:15 that wa-wa effect
6:21 and now the piano
6:40 completely dialed in
6:53 quickly includes that clap sound
7:29 switches back to the synth which sounds kinda like a horn instrument
8:04 fingers just bouncing on the keys in the perfect place at the perfect time
Patrick may well be my favorite renaissance-man of modern day music. It’s so clear how much he loves making it
Dude you are explaining their magic
4:26 the triangle fall off
it is physically impossible to stay still while listening to parcels, according to science of course
Dam, totally agree
ahahaha.......rite
Totally agree also.
100% agreed
Well if it's science.
man they deserve to be so much more popular. this is fucking unbelievable.
Maybe they don't want to :)
@@felipelt8940 why wouldn’t you lmao foh with that hipster crap
@@YellawayHD Maybe we don't want to!!! hahahahah
mainstream...u know....
I wanna keep them for myself...
I start by nodding my head, then my shoulders eventually get into it, then I always end up dancing in my chair. every. single. time.
Or dancing while doing the dishes
@@johanvisser7670 YES I LOVE DOING IT, it's veryyy difficult not to dance while listening to Parcels
Hahaha thats so true 😁✌🏽✌🏽
I was actually dancing on my chair while I saw your comment
hahahaha The shoulders, yes!!
I'm 51 years old but I feel like a teenager when I hear your music and your lives
They're really that sick!
@Movie Fan Well said!
50 this year! never to old buddy!
Haha nice
Man, your taste of music is amazing
This just made my day SO much better
Yahoo! 😘😘😘

Was watching this during my lunch at work and it made me feel good
Ikrrrrr🧜🏻♀️
"Dad why is my Sister's name Rose?" "Because your Mother loves roses" "Thanks Dad" "No problem Transition from Redline to IknowhowIfeel"
riiiiight
Hahahaha i love it
Ahahahah Love it
Love how at 2:47 the bassline is literally relayed like the Olympic torch
had no idea what they were doing there...love it!
Good funk is the only virus we need. Brilliant 👏🏻
the funk virus
Haha 👍🏼👍🏼🔥
Imaging you guys play Get Lucky ☺️
u can say that again..."Brilliant" is best description for sure

It's so good I cried
I know how you feel now
Jes i know how i feel right now
😥😣😥❤👌❤👌❤
Oof i agree at 10000%
Even after a dozen milion times this song is still uffg
i can't have this as background music while working cause i feel like watching them so badly. it's addictive
Hahaha me too ! It's all about their facial expressions while enjoying making great music that counts too
hahahaha i just did end up searching them up on youtube while doing my work
Hahaha same .. trying to draw but it’s not working 😂
The way you introduce the tunes of other songs and rearrange them fascinates me
its an addiction x
Every time I get high I listen to this masterpiece, is another level.
4:31 I can't get over how he just plays the SHIT out of that triangle. Like he's just so into it and like don't get me wrong it's so cool but also it's just a tiny little bent bit of metal that gets made fun of all the time and he just goes so hard at it. I'm in love
He goes on with a bottle like that too earlier in the recording hahah
Where I am from (Northeastern Brazil) the triangle is a very common instrument but for some reason in the rest of the world it does not get taken seriously lol
Such an underrated instrument IMO
I love how Patrick passes the groove to noah just before redline ends, if you pay attention you can see them physically reaching out to each other, like if hes passing him a beer i love this bands chemistry.
🤜🤛
so LOVELY ✨
Actually it seems more like he is passing the groove torch to noah
I’m pretty sure it’s just because the bass player is taking over the bass line from the synth
@@peterw8987 exactly my observation
My quarantine=Parcels the whole day , cheers From Argentina

I don 't think Parcels are capable of making a bad song.
The guy on keyboard is keeping this whole band together and not respected enough, he’s insanely talented

Can't stop listening to Elude, it is genius. It reminds me of good times in Paris in the early 2000s......that I never actually had

Toto's smile at 3:36 is so precious :")
I was just passing through this comment when he smiled :)

merci! x
I discovered Parcels only at the end of 2019 after listening to their collaboration with AnnenMayKantereit (,,Can‘t get you out of my head“) and was instantly hooked. I just like their unique style (combining old and new sounds) which is quite different from everything I‘ve ever listened to. All of them are also EXTREMELY talented musicians!!!
Guys if you read this: I‘m probably your BIGGEST FAN in Austria and have listened to all of your songs for at least 50 times (personal favorite is gamesofluck)
Please come visit my country some time in the future !! (Vienna -> Stadthalle) :-)
PLEASE Thumbs up so they can see !
And for me it was the other way around - I've discovered AnnenMayKantereit. I don't like all their stuff but May has such great vocals and lyrics of Ozean and In meinem Bett are so cool.
Literally same just from Hungary. Plssssss a Vienna gig would be lit
Last August they were in Graz, but Bilderbuch were the main act, so Parcels were on for only an hour. It was something I couldn't have missed so I made the trip myself from Slovenia, didn't even care about Bilderbuch. Was totally worth it even if most people there were Bilderbuch fans who didn't know Parcels, however I still have their proper concert as main act on my bucket list. Come back to this part of Europe, Parcels!
@@dudemcpek lucky you :-)
SUSH! since i discovered them long before i'd consider ME as the probably biggest fan in austria... ;-) nah, just kidding, i don't care who's the bigger fan. did you check out all the live versions scattered around somewhere on youtube? there's one version of gamesofluck that's just incredible (i think it was reeperbahn festival) and an acoustic version of be myself and and and....
Hey I’m 64 and they know how I feel right now .. . great that I found my Parcels 😎 I love this track what a great sound these guys produce 😎
1:10 Noah training for an upcoming relay race and Patrick helping him at 2:47 while playing for an uninterrupted filmed Live Album... we just LOVE and respect multitasking kings !
I have turned so many people onto them. I love these guys and wish them even more success.
Oh definitely, like i always say, Parcels is always the vibe. And basically everybody agrees
Vibin’ was never this fun 🤘

@@Parcels love you guys. i know i'm a bit late to the party, as I discovered you guys back in March of this year, but I can't wait to see you live once this is all over. I'll be going with friends that I introduced to you as well, it'll be a hell of a time.
I hope they know how good they are , man this is the best music of the year .
It's just fascinating how people can create something that makes other people feel so good and arise their inside emotions, thank you Parcels
Argentina feels good now!!!

This is the correct way to stay isolated
Nunca hay volumen suficiente para escuchar esta joya
Imagine liking your work everyday so much as the synth guy. Incredible, incredible outro.

Feelss so good guysss!!!!! i love it!!
thankyou! x
*Every Parcels song
This Song brings me down from all problems. I am born in 1983 and i heard this great Song thousand times... Unbelievable. The greatest Song for me. Greetings from Bavaria ❤️
Listened to this when I was on shrooms. One of the best vibes I ever caught lol they got such a good feel. It’s literally like a hint of old school n new wave n soul
hideout with sax flavour sounds great...you've mixed so many genre-colours here...but the best thing is to see you guys enjoy so much. hugs to all from Zagreb
croatian praise! I love it! Thankyou!
Dooodjite u Zagreb alles gut
Guys. You are possibly the greatest disco band out there right now! I can see why Daft Punk wanted to work with you. This was total art. Can't wait to see you again and hopefully meet again! Keep doing what your doing please! That next album will be a belter!
Patrick Hetherington is on fire and cold at a time. genius.. , it's like Alan Parsons playing Sirius...
Are these guys the tightest grooviest band out there right now? This music is unreal. And live too. I run everyday to it and it makes my day better
dancing to this during quarantine 💯
France loves you 🇫🇷❤️ great job guyysss
and we love france! x
This is simply legendary and masterpiece.. this should be counted in top 10 best songs ever made.. the groove, transitions, sync… everything is like it was made for each other and each of these instruments were made for this band..to play this unf@ckinbelievable track..which takes you away from your life for those 9 minutes
I love how everyone here is just having a good time. Especially the guy on piano. I felt that bass too, buddy.
So good to see all of you in action! What great vibes!
Thank you, asian prince x
Patrick Hetherington is so talented. He is so good at every instrument he touches.
I like the way how they make the transition between the tracks. These guys eat, sleep and drink music. Their love for music is infectious. This is brilliant!
I wanna say in the comments how much I love the singer and his rhythmic guitar. He looks and sounds so iconic, doesn't he? Then again, I wanna say who awesome it is, to watch the drummer with his awesome face expressions, until I get to the piano part at 6:20. It's so damn good and the piano freaks me out every time, until the bass kicks in at 6:35 and make me wanna dance.
Parcels is just a bunch of dude, who are all outstanding on their own. But when they come together, it's nothing less than pure perfection.
parcels:
me: talented brilliant incredible amazing show stopping spectacular never the same totally unique...
Louie, Patrick, Anatole, Noah and the last but not te least Jules, guys thank you, thank you, thank you for the performance. I already managed to smile today. I hope to see you at a concert as soon as possible.
Thanks pedro! it means a lot x
Insane. The real music is back!!!
i keep coming back to this. there’s not one day that i’ve skipped since this song came out
Such an effortless jam. Parcels delivering you out of isolation for a whole 9 minutes.
has live music ever seen such a masterpiece? will live music ever see such a masterpiece again?
Top 5 triangleist in the world for sure, this song slaps
I started to cry because of how magical their music is
I cri evertiem
I listened to the Parcels album non-stop for 2 months. I don't exactly have a wide music library, but I've never been so overtaken by one band.
Y’all grooved the sadness & isolation out of me
I couldn't choose a favorite song Parcels is glorious but REDLINE/I KNOW HOW I FEEL totally paradise
when your head start nodding, you know thats's a good music

4:25 does anyone else hear the triangle fall?
Love this version
every time i listen to this it just make me smile even this little „mistake“ is great
4:27 when that dude started playing a triangle I first loled, then I was amazed by the way he used it, it was the moment I knew you guys would go that far to make great tunes, keep doing your music I love it 👌
SUBLIME Y HERMOSO 💖💘
Putting the ad breaks in the middle of the transitions is a crime against humanity. One of the best recordings ever.
It's always so great to see how good music is being built.
"Allow me to go crazy on this triangle"
The best part of the Video is how much they enjoy making music. Nothing should matter more than enjoying what you do. And when you look like that you can't help but enjoy whatever they do.
Band of the century... this is outta this world, srsly
I agree. Or a very different world to our current one. Parcels is something else. They could one day be the next Beatles. Just saying.
So fresh, so new, so lovely...
YES YES YES this is what we need right now
I know how you feel...
they're so in sync!!! dat switch in 3:08 is so goooooooooooood!!!
isss damn good !!!
I think this is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard
The song till 6:10 is amazing then it hits this new realm of amazing. And it turns into something that i have no words to explain!! 😱
Different countries, different cultures, yet I feel connected with you guys from heart to heart across half the planet.. I'd say that's a pure magic and appreciate the outstanding talents you guys have. The sound tastes like a fresh salad mixed from colorful vegetables. Sending so much love from South Korea!
The only band that can make a perfect song better! Amazing work. I love it!
I saw them live in NYC, thinking I was smart, trying to catch them miming to a backing track....realising there was no backing track, just the real deal!!
100% Live!
Live life like the drummer. What a happy man doing what he loves.
When I discoved Parcels, I felt like I was complete again... I knew there was still good and beautiful music nowadays. Guys, you make me feel alive! You should come back to Mexico, I didn't know you yet when you were here
I love how much they're jamming to Redline as it builds up. So good!
This band is the very essence of coolness
As a city planner, I think my search history brought me here? I’m not in the least bit mad.
The Prologue, The Tale and The Conclusion
That's a beautiful narration!
Keep it Funky guys, it's lovely!
Let’s have a moment of scilence for everyone who has never heard this.
I found PARCELS when I was flying from Melbourne to Perth in April, 2019!. I listened to most of their tracks in TIGER at FL300. Later when I was travelling around Perth in the cold gusty wind at Fremantle I listen to "Gamesofluck" and "Overnight" . . . in the Rottnest Island I lisnted to "IknowhowIfeel" and "Allaround". Simply I remeber my whole vacation in Perth is listening to PARCELS!. I am from Sri Lanka! Keep up the great music!
Imagine being able to play so beautifully live and having the talent to sound like that. I love these guys. My days in quarantine = listening to parcels 24/7
Exquisite... the best thing I’ve heard/seen all week

This is really all I needed to soothe these self isolation blues - thank you! Many a boogie was had whilst watching and cooking dinner this evening - alongside listening to the LP, which features quite heavily in the day-to-day of the household. I can’t help it, you guys are just too damn good!!! Can’t wait to hear the remaining live tracks so I can relive that fabulous Metro gig you guys played at the end of 2019! Big love from Sydney! x
