The Favre-Leuba brand is a very interesting one-the Twin Power model has dual barrels in parallel, and the company is now owned by an Indian watch retailer, Ethos Ltd. In 2011 Indian conglomerate Tata bought it but recently sold it to Ethos. Some of the manufacturing may still be done in Switzerland, but I'm not certain, Unseen. Take care, Bill

Hey Bill, congrats on 500! Barrels in parallel isn’t constant force - in the sense of flattening the torque curve - but I have read the increased torque improves chronometry (I’m not sure how) and the opposing barrels reduce wear on the pinion they drive in tandem. All the best, Ed
