Approach to Neonatal cholestasis. Dr Sridhar K

Neonatal jaundice is a common problem, but when jaundice is prolonged, we need to rule out conjugated jaundice (suggestive of cholestasis)-this is a serious problem as there is a risk of conditions like biliary atresia that need urgent treatment. In this lecture, I provide a detailed overview of this topic, and share information of the important causes of neonatal cholestasis.
