✅ PLDT 2023 - International Symposium on Paediatric Liver Diseases and Transplantation, was organized on March 18 and 19, 2023, by The Liver Pancreas Foundation of Hyderabad and PACE Hospitals, Hyderabad, in collaboration with TSISG, LTSI, PATS, Osmania General Hospital, and Gandhi Hospital at the HICC, Novotel Convention Centre, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, inaugurated and attended by the eminient and renowned personalities in the field of Liver Diseases and Transplantation.
✅ It was the first of its kind meeting on Paediatric Liver Transplantation in India, involving Paediatricians, Gastroenterologists and Surgeons, and experts from India and worldwide.

Neonatal jaundice, also known as neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, is a condition that occurs in newborn babies when the level of bilirubin in their blood is higher than normal. Bilirubin is a yellow substance that is formed when the body breaks down old red blood cells. Normally, the liver processes bilirubin and removes it from the body through the intestines.
The diagnosis of neonatal jaundice typically involves a physical examination by a healthcare provider, who will look for yellowing of the skin and eyes. The healthcare provider may also ask about the baby's feeding patterns, stooling habits, and overall health.
