  • Learning football fundamentals is the foundation of any good practice - from pee wees to the pros. USA Football visited the Miami Dolphins’ OTAs this spring and sat down with coaches to discuss some of the drills they use. With the help of the Dolphins coaching staff, USA Football is producing a series of videos that breaks down the basics in a way that youth and high school football coaches can use with their teams. In the video below, the Dolphins demonstrate footwork drills that help running backs and receivers improve their quickness and balance when navigating through traffic. - See more at: usafootball.com/blogs/fundamen...

I don't get it. These drills look like they are for runningbacks yet it says they are for recievers and runningbacks but im wondering if all of them are for both positions or are some of these drills for the Wide Reciever? Someione pleas respond

They help anyone with footwork. Wideouts may not perform the same movements that these drills teach but it still helps with footwork.

Man, some of the flawed technique in these athletes. Improper plant on the 90 degree breaks for some, actually many.
