With the engine start/stop. If you have auto-hold enabled, just release your foot off the brake and it will restart the engine at stop lights. Thats what I do in my V60. You can also be in manual mode to prevent the engine from shutting off, but I feel that that's not consistent.
Thanks for another great review Mike. I will always have a soft spot for Volvo. My very first car was a 1966 122s. Bought it used in 1971 for $900 and drove it for 30K miles and sold it for $500 dollars. Loved that car....BUT the tranny was going (it was an automatic - one of their first I think). Keep up the GREAT work.
Love your videos as you literally point things out. Night videos are my faves. The V60 does let you disable auto-start/stop (try putting the shifter into manual mode). The tailored dashboard is actually stitched and high quality also. It's been a fantastic vehicle for us. The B&W sound system, full nappa leather, passenger memory, massage, and a climate system that rarely requires adjusting make Volvo stand out among the competition, while being understated. Exterior design is timeless. Paint quality on our 2022 has been flawless with a solid clear coat. No mechanical issues either. Bought out the lease.
Enjoyed the video, but would recommend to avoid filming in a shaded area with a sunny background, the camera was incapable of compensating for this situation, hence the very dark appearance within the car, but to make it even worse you left the roof shade closed for most of the video making it even darker in appearance. You chose to test this V60 CC without doing anything remotely offroad ! No mention of the extra ride height as a result, driving down a highway isn't a real test of the cars all-round abilities, you may as well of had the standard V60 for that which would of been slightly more economical, because of not having the 4-wheel drive system to cope with ! The auto start-stop feature can be overridden by putting the car in Auto-hold and release the brake, this enables the engine to start and run the aircon while stuck in traffic, I'm surprised you didn't research this before making the video, instead of constantly moaning about a problem that doesn't actually exist !

The side skirt panel with the cross country lettering is in fact made of metal, not plastic.
Correct! No cheap stuff there.

Thank you for you feedback. I don't like to use Auto-hold, I prefer to drive normally.
I double checked the video and the interior shots were properly exposed. You may need to adjust your brightness setting on your device.
