@justinwinans8330 Allen also has 30 (78 total) more INT's than Lamar (48) in that same span. Lamar is in the stronger 💪🏾 Division as well. To Allen's credit he did beat 2 top teams (Chiefs / Lions), but he did get crushed head to head by Lamar (35-10) where they took him out the game. Allen also went 9-30 in a game as well. Lamar can easily crush Josh Allen's rush TD's if he wants to.
The odds difference is even more crazy when you realize that the Bills aren’t even 12-2, they’re 11-3, which is only 2 games ahead of the Ravens with 3 games left to play. If he loses one more game he’s not the favorite if Lamar wins out. Tall task though.
It's funny how Allen can have these horrible games and everyone just sweeps it under the rug. Lamar has a sub par game and it gets etched on his tombstone
Josh is the only player ever to have 2 passing and 2 rushing TDs in consecutive games, the only one to ever have 3 of each in one game (in the Superbowl era), he is the only player with 40 total TDs in 3 consecutive years and if he accounts for 1 per game the rest of the year he will be the only one with 4, he is the only QB ever to have 360+ passing, 90+ rushing, and 2+ TDs in consecutive games. I could go on. Yeah, he had a bad game against the Texans. When the game was on the line against the Chiefs, Allen improvised and scampered for a 26 yard TD, breaking tackles along the way. Lamar threw a ball a little too high and a little too hard and pushed his receiver just out of the end zone. In the head to head game I keep seeing how Lamar only threw 5 incomplete passes. That is because he only threw 18 total. Ravens ran the ball 34 times, passed 19. Bills 34 passing playa, 23 rushing. Allen was 16 of 29, but had a lot of throw aways because nobody was open.
Lamar did not dominate the Bills. Henry did. Lamar just took advantage of Henry's 200+ yard and 2TD day. Hell, Allen beat Lamar in total yards, but he didn't have Henry so he lost. So just stop it already.
@@onlyfacts9820no? Lamar had 289 pass yards n 2 TD-0 int @ Cleveland and they still lost bc the secondary dropped 3 interceptions. The raiders game, Tucker misses a FG, defense gives up 13 4th/OT points… yeah all Lamar’s fault tho

As a Ravens fan I'm fine with voter fatigue being the tiebreaker and finally giving Allen a MVP, if only to avoid feeding Buffalo's colossal persecution complex. I'm mainly annoyed by the media's shameless flip flopping while constantly claiming the race is over. That said, Allen has the late schedule to pull ahead statistically and in terms of wins, and frankly if he fails to do so that should be absolutely held against him, you can't paper around the significant difference is schedule strength, and relative performance against winning teams. Also, while it was a dramatic win against a strong opponent on prime time, I think Allen's performance against the Lions wont age particularly well, at least relative to Lamar's. Both of them beat the tar out of thoroughly compromised defenses, we just haven't gotten used to thinking of the Lions as compromised yet. Allen had the better statistical performance in large part because the Lions offense forced him to be aggressive all four quarters, while the Ravens were in cruise control for most of the 4th. In some ways Lamar is lucky his defense kept commiting penalties, it was probably the only thing that kept him on the field in the 4th quarter in the first place. The Lions will have to boat race teams for the rest of the year, and they've lost so much in the way of personnel (especially on D) its hard to see them going far in the playoffs. Maybe that gaping cosmic imbalance will propel them through the playoffs and get us to the big game.
Ravens historically have always done better as underdogs. Both Superbowl winning seasons they had to go on the road in the playoffs to get it done. There's just something about them that feels funny when things are going too well and they're the #1 seed and sitting at home. I don't know, they just play with a different level of urgency when the odds are stacked against them.

@@3Vizonah Lamar is not having a better season. Stat wise they are very close, but Allen has made clutch plays in big moments against the one loss Chiefs and 2 loss Lions. He doesn’t have Derrick Henry either. The Bills were supposed to have a mini rebuild season this year and are now 11-3 and will probably be 14-3 by years end. Allen is the obvious MVP, cry about it
Stop with this crybaby whining. You Ravens fans cry that the media is so unfair and racist to Lamar when they have voted him MVP TWICE! One of which was unanimous and last year he was mid and still got 49/50 1st place votes.
@StudentOfLife365 it’s mostly Lamar’s fault they didn’t go to the Super Bowl last year. The defense played spectacularly and forced Mahomes to punt 7x and had a turnover. Did you know that in 3 playoff losses to KC, the Bills have only forced 6 punts combined and only 1 turnover, which Hardman fumbled on the 1 yard line and it went through the end zone?! Crazy, I know. You pluck Josh Allen out of Buffalo and put him on that Ravens team they win by 2 scores, no question.
The flipside is Josh deserved it more last year, and now Lamar has a more legitimate MVP case, but its a waste because voters care more about team record than actually being the literal most valuable player. It's Josh, but Lamar is having a better year than last year
I think people are misremembering the number from last year. Lamar flat out had better stats than Josh last year. Both Dak and Purdy had the best stats. Josh was 4th.
😂😂😂 players knew who deserves it it damn sure wasn't Allen Lamar Jackson had 3 games with perfect passer rating against teams above 500 let that sink he doing the same thing this year but better
Lol what if Lamar shit the bed the last 2 games? The thing with Lamar is when he plays someone that he thinks is more talented than him, he crumbles trying to play like that opposing player. I honestly think that if the ravens played the chiefs next week, ravens win that game. You can't judge a team on losses in the first 4 weeks. But I think Josh deserves it more because he doesn't have a derrick Henry, Zay flowers, Mark Andrews, and Bateman. Lamar has like 4 pro bowlers on his team. Allen doesn't even have one lol. And still, Josh and him are tied with TDs. I agree, if Josh loses one game in the last 3 he won't win. But come on, Lamar diced up the crappy giants lol. If he has 5 TDs against Pittsburgh, NOW we have some good odds for Lamar
Allen has a top 5 oline, top 10 rb, Kincaid, Cooper, and Shakir. Domt act like he has a bunch of nobodies. Shakir could be argued to be the least talented of those guys and he has 1 drop in 2 years. Comparatively, while I like Bateman, he has multiple massive drops this season and all 3 of Lamar's picks were dropped passes from his "superior" supporting cast.
I still think Allen or Dak should have won last year, no good reason for the near unanimous vote. It’s close but Lamar should probably win this year, but if Allen wins it this year for finishing the year strong I guess it evens out.
Why is it so hard for ppl to understand why he won? Lamar blew out all the top teams that would be in the playoffs Dolphins,Lions,49ers, Chargers, Seahawks plus he had only 7 turnovers to Allen's 18 and his record was the best in the NFL. IDC how many TDs Josh Allen threw, with all those turnovers and that record he was never gonna win.
@@guyfromnewarkya I dont know why people seem to have amnesia on why he won last year. Seems to me like people are just disappointed on how the AFCC game unfolded and are letting it justify their double standards.

@huntermorris7421 What’s your point? That was week 4. The Bills are a vastly different team. The Ravens were up quick because of Henry which allowed the Ravens to be much more aggressive than they’d usually be and blitzed the heck out of Allen
@@huntermorris7421apparently your reading comprehension is poor. Again, when you get up early in a game, the defense will play more aggressive. Lamar also had a terrible game against the Steelers and a few so-so games. Allen has had to do more with less this season. Meanwhile, Allen is having his absolute best year while his team actually took away his best weapon. That's why he will win MVP.
Josh. we don't think youre a bad person. None of us do.
People who want Allen to be mvp over lamar are just flat out racists. It isn’t even close that lamar is mvp.
Not all.
Lamar fans are so insufferable. Lamar already has 2 MVPs and a lot of his success this season is due to Henry. Allen has a bunch of nobodies around him. Can’t Allen just have one MVP holy sh*t
@@awill3454Nope went want it all
@@awill3454 you want a free hand out when Lamar is having a better year wtf,
@@3Vizonah Lamar is not having a better season. Allen is the obvious MVP, cry about it
Only gone give it to him if the script says someone else wins the Super Bowl
Read it and weep😂😂.
After this week LJ
💯🤙🏾
clickbait title smh
What? Lamar is obviously the mvp. Research the stats a little. People favoring Allen are just flat out racists that want a white QB. Shame on you.
Nah
Does it seem like they want a white MVP. True or not true?
If that were true, Brock Purdy would have won it last year.
So just stop it already and give Allen his flowers.
Josh Allen will win as a Lamar fan, they have a different standard for Lamar. He won’t win another the media has more weight than stats
Yeah what meve. Stats don't explain everything. Lamar won without pitying up Stats last year.
Stop with this crybaby whining. You Ravens fans cry that the media is so unfair and racist to Lamar when they have voted him MVP TWICE! One of which was unanimous and last year he was mid and still got 49/50 1st place votes.
@awill3454 Good thing the media agrees with you baby boy
@@LenDD-e4t yea no one last year had great stats
@@awill3454 Why bring up Racism, weirdo
No one cares if LJ wins an mvp only his crazy fans. The playoffs is the only thing that can elevate his legacy
Not true. Superbowls are TEAM wins!!! He can't do it alone. MVPs will still elevate his legacy and put him in legendary company!
@@awill3454 footballs a team game. Pat mahomes didn't play exceptional as well. The whole offense was making mistakes.
Lol what a joke.
The flipside is Josh deserved it more last year, and now Lamar has a more legitimate MVP case, but its a waste because voters care more about team record than actually being the literal most valuable player. It's Josh, but Lamar is having a better year than last year
He did not deserve it last year.
Josh Allen had 18 ints last yr... That was a big part of it.
The bills have been playing majority garbage teams. Ravens have been loosing because of everybody else but LJack
Saquon Barkley should be the MVP winner dude has completely transformed the eagle offense right back into Super Bowl contenders
They went to the superbowl with Miles Sanders dude
@ Your point?
@@flyguy7825his point is they were already contenders they just needed a competent RB
@ well last year they weren’t contenders
😂😂😂😂 with two number 1 wrs and the best online in the league that also helps to let's be real here
Lol what if Lamar shit the bed the last 2 games?
Is that why he’s 6-1 vs Joe Burrow? Or maybe 3-2 (RS) vs Allen? Or how about 2-0 vs Stroud, 2-0 vs Tom Brady in his career!? Shut tf up bro lol
Stop the cap 🧢! Lamar has beaten more playoff teams than any other Quarterback since 2019 other than Mahomes!
Lamar made them pro bowlers. All the ravens added was Henry with a new Oline.
If he do it's over but I'm not betting on that
Allen has a top 5 oline, top 10 rb, Kincaid, Cooper, and Shakir.
@@guyfromnewark There’s a huge difference between winning and winning on a unanimous vote
@@jujushaw8250 that's exactly the reason.
@@guyfromnewark or maybe it’s because Lamar was 9th in EPA/play behind Jake Browning
Lamar beat a tomatoe can yes he's playing great . But allen beat the 2 best teams in the NFL and played amazing. The Ravens aren't even in the playoffs yet stop it . Let's see if he can beat pittsburgh
Giving credit to Allen for beating 2 great teams but forgetting that Lamar beat Allen???
The Lions don't have a functional defense right now due to injuries
@@BruteDionThey love ignoring that part
Allen beat the 2 best teams but Lamar beat him! That all we need to know plus 4 k passing yards it's over
Not in the playoffs yet with a 99.9999999% chance of making the playoffs. That was ya best argument?
Such an MVP he can’t win a ring. Lol
True of every quarterback in football not named Mahomes, Stafford and Russell Wilson. And everybody on the planet knows Josh is better than 2 of those guys.
Fun fact: manning won 2 mvps prior to winning a superbowl. Kurt Warner won 1 before winning his first superbowl. Dan Marino won 1 and never won a superbowl. Lamar has time bro, he's only 27 lol.
Speaking of age: Manning was 30 when he won his first. Brees was 31. Elway was 37. Steve young was 33. See where I'm going with this?
U talking bout Josh Allen?
Nobody wins a ring in the regular season.
When the MVP award is being judged for.
Yea ok
It was also a reminder that he’s playing a shit ass two and 18 against back up secondaries go do it to a Kansas City or Detroit he can’t
Didn't he do it to Detroit when they had a vastly less injured and better team last year. Y'all just love ignorance.
The Ravens had the 32nd ranked defense when Allen threw for 150 yards and no TDs in week 4.
@huntermorris7421 What’s your point? That was week 4. The Bills are a vastly different team. The Ravens were up quick because of Henry which allowed the Ravens to be much more aggressive than they’d usually be and blitzed the heck out of Allen
@@awill3454my point is that Allen was awful in 2 games, one of which was a terrible defense. I was pretty clear
@@huntermorris7421apparently your reading comprehension is poor. Again, when you get up early in a game, the defense will play more aggressive. The game script changes because the Bills needed points so they abandoned the run. It’s a lot easier when you know you can blitz without the fear of being gashed by a running back finding a hole and getting a 20 yard run.
Lamar also had a terrible game against the Steelers and a few so-so games. Allen has had to do more with less this season. This was supposed to be a rebuild year and they sit at 11-3 with wins against the two best teams this season, the Chiefs and Lions. They have lost a combined 3 games this season, 2 to Buffalo. Allen deserves this MVP. Cry about it.
