Fascinating - I still think Amir could have won if the staging was better - Ukraine's staging was pretty stellar. Look at how well Lithuania did with great staging on a song that few thought would do well.
this really shows the impact seeing the actual live performance has, and how staging etc really is important. I mean after seeing the show a lot of the predictions were obviously far off: Armenia for example, the song wasn't one of my favourites before, but with that performance, it blew my mind. Also Poland, i hated that song before, it was soo dated, the videoclip everything, but live idk it sounded way better, his voice had more emotion, his look, i understand why people voted for them (not as a the 3rd in the televote, i dont get that but still).
The epic moment of the night was Frans' (sweden) performance - i mean all the crowd singing along n non-stop clapping to the end - was my winner n imo couldve won if sweden hadnt won so much in these last few years but still happy with top 5 ( they did it again)

Poland- Michal was by far the best singer this year, he should have got way more points from the juries. he came 3rd with the public beating Australia. Michal is a superstar in my Eyes, my number one of all time.
Ukraine deserved winning - great stage, emotional performance and great voice. I think Czech Republic, Hungary and Croatia were undrrated, I like them very much.

The biggest differences are because in our tops, we only judged the songs, while the performace means a lot in the final. For example Lithuania and The Netherlands were much higher for me after seeing them on stage. Anyways nice video again ;)
That's a cool video. And again, the results show that even those 1000 UA-camrs make only a very little percentage of people watching and voting at ESC, so... yeah, nobody can predict the results :)
This project took me months. If you look on my channel you can see I made an update video for each 100 voters. Voters were people voting on my videos and I took top 10 from people's tops on YT (mostly top 43/42). Each voter gave their top 10 point ESC style. Each user could only vote once, so we kept a databse. Most info you can find in the description of a video called "Eurovision 2016: 1000 UA-cam Tops" which was the final video and which this is all compared with. Hope I wrote it clear enough.
Hungary was 4th in the semi-final but 19th overall, so sad finding that out as that was my winner last year and Bulgaria going from 5th in semi to 4th in final well done.

Not sure what you mean, but I collected 1000 tops from people and I had help. So prediction itself is not by me at all, but I am one of the voters hehe.
I feel like Jamala is the most overrated winner of all time. My tip was France, Spain or Russia and had songs like Austria, Hungary or Sweden in top 10. The energy you get from listening to France or Spain is so positive, like you wanna listen to it more and more, the energy you get from listening to Ukraine is awful, it's even torture to listen to. I feel like this was a very strong year for Eurovision, many great songs, I couldn't make up my top 5 for a while and I thought it would be a very close competition. Never in a million years would I think they will turn it into AntiRussiaVision and it would be 100% political event where music has no power whatsoever. Kinda sad isn't it?

My way of pointing the fact out that Tinkara and Maraaya were both around 10 places higher in the past years. According to that, Slovenia should be dead last this year.

Remember that only contestant of the specific semi-finale is allowed to vote. It doesn't represent the rest of Europe.
I think the You Tube Community and the Eurovision You Tubers must give their points instead of the jury. It would be so much better.

I totally agree. Ukraine just won because of sympathy.. And the song was terrible. No positive energy whatsoever. Just awful.
