Oh man this hit me in the feels in a big way. My wife passed away on Feb 13th and seeing this video just made me get all emotional. She loved Disneyland and all things Disney and I know she’d be thrilled that the trams were back. Thank you for sharing this, even though it made me cry, your video evokes memories of good times we shared. Thank you for posting this.
omg i got chills and smiled so huge watching this and just hearing the recorded spiels of the tram and the CM's "driver your are all clear"! I know it's such a small part of the experience but it's the FIRST experience of visiting the parks and it gets your day started off right!
I teared up hearing the spiel again. I used to hear it way too often as a DTD CM but now I realize how much I miss it... I had to replay the opening spiel again.
@@heatherseib8875 omgosh YES!! Man it's been such an emotional rollercoaster. And something that's so simple as the Tram Spiel is actually igniting the candle of hope for us all!
Major chills seeing (and hearing) the tram back up and running. The "traditional" first and last ride of the day, regardless of decade and lot locations. :)
David, I am a sicko like you and would DEFINITELY make a trip to Disneyland just to ride the trams. So from Olympia, WA- THANK YOU! If it weren't for you out there living this life, I wouldn't be able to either. I live for videos like this. You rock! ✨✨
I was there at 10 am exactly yesterday trying to start a “The Trams are Back” chant to no success. I was absolutely shocked how efficient it was compared to the past when it often took 20 minutes to go through security and get on the tram. It was just like it was when you were there at 7 am.
Remember the days as a kid in the late 70's where the tram drove you through all of the parking lot with the various characters to remember where you parked. Those were the Golden Age!!
I remember when theme park trams used to have everyone sitting facing outwards on one long bench, back to back., with nothing keeping you from falling out except for your parent’s arm. Those always terrified me. The Disneyland trams look like a real luxury compared to the old days.
I love this. when it’s been a while since I’ve visited Disneyland, it’s this type of stuff that gets me excited to visit again, just these simple things have so much magic. This is what true Disneyland fans enjoy most
I dont rememeber Disneyland pre DCA. I was born in '96. So that tram is imo the first official ride/attraction of my Disneyland trip. So when I went back after Covid19, and I found out it was closed it broke my heart. I'm so glad its back!
I’ve been riding that Tram ever since I can remember, until the park closed of course so happy it’s back. I could still remember the smell of the engine and the little breeze that hits as you’re waiting to be dropped off 😁😌
This was such an emotional video for me. First of all, the music playing on the tram track and through Downtown Disney is just the best part of starting the morning at the resort. This also brought back so many memories of being dead tired as a kid at the end of the day watching the trams pull into the drop off/ pick up area. Thank you Fresh Baked.
I remember riding the Tram from the parking lot (now California Adventure) in the early 70s and how excited I was as a child approaching Disneyland for the first time. I'm glad to see them back!
I can feel the tears welling up in my eyes. Driver you are clear and the beeping. The recording. My son has autism and adhd. I started taking him when he was 5. He would repeat what they said on the recording. It was his first favorite ride. We stopped going to the parking structure. We have imagine key passes and I cannot afford to go and pay for the parking or gas so we take the bus. On Monday when we get off the bus on Harbor we are taking the trams for memories. My son will be 9 this year.
FB is the first to cover this, color me surprised. Last time I went to DL; my friend got preferred parking and we practically walked in. The last actual Tram ride I had, was when the Trams where Yellow, White and Lite Blue and they just circled the large parking lot which is now mostly DCA and Indian Jones and Forbidden Eye attraction. *_"Driver You Are Clear!"_*
FreshBaked, David, You must be the only person who knows it's daylight at 7.00a.m. in the morning. The rest of us are still tucked up in bed. I hope this is not a start of a new trend. I don't get payed enough to be up at this time of day. I hope it's not catching. Cheers, Chris Perry.
Omg so glad you did this I wanted to go the first day they came back it’s a big thing for Disneyland fans especially people who hates that one mile long pre walk before getting into Disney
David, don't be deceived. This is a bigger thing than you may think. Just because you did not see many people, one you are earlier than most. Also Disney did not make it known in advance when the trams would start running. For me, this means that Disneyland is truly open. As with my bad knee, that walk to the front gate from parking means a lot to have the tram so I am not having to rest my wheels before I an get in the park. Thanks for this update. I got chills with excitement.
Yea, as I am off work tonight, when I say your report on the trams running, it made me want to jump in the car and get down there. To me, riding the trams is almost like walking under the entrance tunnel where you are walking, or in this case riding into another world, or the world of Disneyland. For me it brings back memories as a kid, when we would park in the lot, where DCA is now, and hurry up to get out of the car, to hurry to get to catch one of the trams that ran through the parking lot. Inevitably someone in the family as the tram started to leave, would say, "hey, where are we parked!". So we would frantically look for our car, and the nearest parking lot designation location sign. Thanks again David. You have know idea what memories this video brought back. Now have to find someone to drag with me and Disneyland here we come!
I miss the trams It not Disneyland trip for my family with out we tried last year and it didn't work I happy its back and can't wait for my next strip there when ever I can
I’m a sicko toooo!!! with you !!!!oh my God I cried I cannot wait Less than two weeks I get to ride the trams!!! I am so excited!!! PS I love your hat w/ears!!’
I'm going to miss walking down the tram path since I didn't mind the exercise. But I actually do prefer talking the path to Downtown Disney even before the pandemic. It was nice when that bridge opened up and you didn't have to wait at a traffic light for the signal to cross.
David, is your Ascot with the Mickey Ears something you can find in the park? Or are the Mickey ears clip on’s? I would love to know where you found that gem 💎
Dave I appreciate your enthusiasm for Disneyland. I share this with you now for 54yrs. I admire your cap with the mouse ears. Did you make this or is it merch that is available at Mad Hatter?
It's really also our last 'vestige' of the people mover at DLR . . . a ziplocked pocket mask [or 2] should be a regular carry for all humans after what we've survived. Won't happen with/for everyone, but 4 those who respect the basic but true nature of pathogens it will extend their lifespans. Thank you for all you do, David!
Dave I go to the park 2 to 3 times a week I'm a regular there and boy do I got to say I went on Wednesday 2/23/22 and I have never seen the park so packed 😳 I almost felt uncomfortable Because there was so much people I even bought geine plus which I try to stay away from because people like you and me don't need it but today it was a must but even geine plus wasn't worth it couldn't get much lighting lanes I got there early in the day and when I went to make a lighting lane they were only for at night time none early day time someone literally opened the flood gates of people it was busy busy love ya David and fresh baked keep up the amazing work because it's awesome
At my job I drive a golf cart around an empty property so I put in my earbuds and play a "disneyland tram ride through" video close my eyes and pretend im on it... yeah you can say I missed it.
Is the entrance open at DTD? Anyone know? We usually stay on Katella and walk over through the west side entrance. Thanks! And cool to see the trams! That was usually our first ride of the day!

How very true about being the first but also the last ride of the day.

David’s vibe always feels genuine. He’s so happy to take a tram ride again.
So glad the trams are back. They've always been a part of the Disneyland experience for me.
They're as OG as a Fantasyland dark ride.
You are such a light in this divided world. Thank you for everything
well thank you Kevin! but Disneyland is the real light :)

I’ve never been on the trams but for some crazy reason I’m happy about them returning. Getting back to normal makes me so happy. Fresh Baked!

driver you are clear.
We’re So happy that the Trams are back!!
Thank you Disneyland for bring the trams back.❤🥰👍
Something as simple as the trams returning is such a welcomed sight.
it's funny how important the trams were to many fans of Disneyland. Even Disneyland didn't know it.
I dont rememeber Disneyland pre DCA. I was born in '96. So that tram is imo the first official ride/attraction of my Disneyland trip. So when I went back after Covid19, and I found out it was closed it broke my heart. I'm so glad its back!
The smallest things have the biggest impact. I never once cared about the trams, but actually got teary-eyed hearing the safety spiel.
Okay, now it's weird to see this route that I got used to walking go by so quickly! 😄
Thanks David for sharing this wonderful “new” experience👍🏼❤️
My pleasure!
Love your hat David. Thanks for bringing us along. Feels like a piece of normalcy. Smiles for days.
as normal as I've felt at disneyland in a year.

Cool chatting with you this morning David. Glad I made it in the video 0:40 and at 0:55 on the right behind Spencer
Very first experience at Disneyland 54 years ago. Rode the tram from the outer parking lot (now DCA) to the ticket hut for my booklet of A-E coupons.
I just got chills smiled and my eyes got sweaty with respect
I remember riding the Tram from the parking lot (now California Adventure) in the early 70s and how excited I was as a child approaching Disneyland for the first time. I'm glad to see them back!
So excited! We live in Arizona and have just purchased our magic keys and will be back to making content at the parks. So happy to see this!
Awesome video!!!! It's very exciting to have the trams back!!!! ❤❤❤
god just watching this takes me back. Miss the trams so much.
I’m so weirdly excited for this for someone who will probably not use the trams for my upcoming trip 😅
welcome back Disneyland trams we all miss you so much

I'm so excited! I'm going to be there Friday! And I will have to ride the tram. I havent been on the tram for 16 years at least
As parking structures and trams go, Disneyland's are some of the nicest.
