What is fascinating is that you believe that. Both might be blond because of Slavic, and/ or Germanic DNA, and that's where the similarity ends. That modern Hungarians are descendants of the 9th century raiding Hungarians is a propaganda spoon fed to Hungarians, and been disproven by science. But you, dream on.
@@hhgold7770That's not really true! Khanty and Mansi are mixes between ancient Europeans and Siberians. Maybe the Siberian part indeed resembles Nganasan one, but European part doesn't resemble any of contemporary European ethnic group, because Khanty and Mansi lack the agricultural Medditerranean DNA, which is present in all modern Europeans, including Hungarians.
Interesting that their closest linguistic relatives are the Magyars ( Hungarians) and the Khanty. These are a Uralic people of northern central Asia, yet their other linguistic relatives the Finns, like Hungarians and Estonians look " White." Race is often an interblend of genetics and cannot be determined by appearance alone... it is ironic perhaps that the Natives of North America feel a closer relation and connection with these people for also being " indigenous," than their ethnic and anthropological kindred.
If you go to Hungary and really travel around, you’ll see a lot of kinda Asian-looking faces. They don’t look like exactly Mongols but there is a resemblance. Especially old village people.
Because originally they lived at the western side of the Urals, but the Russian expansion pushed them to Siberia, where they interblended with local Asian peoples. Originally they were whites like the Hungarians, and they had the same culture: they were nomad horsemen. They became reindeer shepherds because they had to adopt the local way of life to survive. As a Hungarian, it's very sad to see, how poor they became because of the Slavic expansion.
Just think how different things would be if Russia never became a country. So many more languages and culture would still be around as well as the people who lived these cultures.
That IS the late Tinker Watts !! It's good to know he made it to my Motherland before his passing. Looks like you were treated well and enjoyed good Uralic hospitality.
1:47 Vizsály, the secrete place.... It is same as the ungarian Vizsoly village. Hungarian Vizsoly is not officially considered a holy place, but it has a significant religious and cultural heritage. Vizsoly is best known for printing the Vizsoly Bible, the first complete Bible in Hungarian. The Bible translated and printed by Gáspár Károli in 1590 is an important landmark in terms of the Hungarian language and culture, and an important religious monument.

Closest linguistic relatives, yet NOT actual relatives, it's clear to see. Ancient Hungarian was preserved by the Slavs and Avars of the Carpathian Basin, who were subjugated by the raiding Hungarians of the 9th century. These actual Hungarians (Magyar) disappeared as early as 1k AD, leaving only their language, elements of their culture, and the propaganda, that modern day Hungarians are their descendants.
well yes, but what makes me wonder is, the language (Hungarian) hasnt changed that much through the past 1000 years, and for me it means Hungarian speakers were here (Carpathian Basin) in bigger numbers. The nation is quite mixed thanks to the war with Monggols, Ottoman empire, etc. But if we give a look to our face features and height in general, we are shorter then the Slavic and other nations around, which works better with nomadic and hunter and gatherer lifestyle. Ofc around the 12th century was a Cummin migration and German, Slav settlers aswell. So answering to your comment, and I dont think they disappeared. It wouldnt make sense to have an ancient Hungarian ruling class, but in the pre-modern era they could have spread their language and customs through a huge territory keeping its complexity.

Seriously I seen native american who look exactly like these people

You can say that about a lot of countries, really. Native people in my country only make up 5% of the population, and even less speak their languages.
