Canon Dancer is created by the original Strider game developer/creator he left Capcom for Mitchell Corp that's why it has so much in common with Strider.

Huntdown was by far one of favorite indie games ever made! Just so well made and so much effort and heart put into it. A fun quick story and fantastic game play

Some of the boss fights are unnecessarily frustrating. It is as if they were designed for arcades where you need to put a coin to try again, so making boss fights like so can be profitable. Here there is no reason to do so.
In EU NumSkull/Meridiem is publishing a compilation with Final Vendetta + Battle Axe + Xeno Crisis called Bitmap Bureau Collection in July We already have em all as physicals here but the compilation is gonna be collectable I guess.
Mayhem Brawler looks like my jam! Like Streets of Rage with a gun attack.

I love Huntdown, such a great cyberpunk run and gun. More methodical and gory than Metal Slug, replayable and the characters are constantly saying funny one-liners and pop culture references.
Radikal Bikers is actually a beloved arcade game made in Spain (my country) and its cabinet had the handlebars. I loved playing it in the Benidorm arcades and I loved that they once brought it to the bar of the municipal swimming pool of my village (where we also had things like Final Fight or The Punisher, back when people valued arcade games).

I was very happy to see Kandagawa Jet Girls on here,I have played the heck out of that game ever since I got it off Amazon about 3 years ago,it is so fun. I also got Cannon Dancer earlier this year and I love it,that last level drove me insane though!! 😡😄
I'd recommend getting 99 vidas digitally on playstation. It was on sale recently for £3.19 (UK) but the best part is that gives you it for PS4 (so obviously PS5 as well) PS3 & PS VITA!!!

Kandagaw Jet Girls creators made a mobile game called Dolphin Wave where they had more freedom for the...bouncier bits of their design style.
Thanks for sharing Reggie. Loved this video. Pretty much all games exactly what I like! Some I already have, some completely new to me. Definitely a few I will pick up. I feel the developers need to focus more on this sort of games in the future. As a 44 year old/young gamer and dad I just don't always have the time for these long huge open world games. I tend to go back to my 80's/90's arcade roots more and more. Needless to say, your video delivered!

I feel the same way. That’s why I never finished Red Dead Redemption 2 yet. Sometimes we need a game we can get into and out of fast.
@@The_RadicalOne Yeah I completely agree. We definitely understand eachother. I did finish Red Dead, (which was amazing btw), but never finished Ghost of Tsushima, Fall out 4, Kingdom Come, Final Fantasy XV and more...all games I really like, and still want to finish, but somehow just can't find the time or energy to really dive into.
Irony of life dictates that I still keep buying them, and so the backlog keeps growing and growing.😂
But I I also think there are a lot of people our age that feel exactly the same, so there's definitely a market for acrade games. Developers, pay attention!

stop saying that Mayhem Brawler is a prototype or somehow related to SOR4…You keep saying this and it’s not at all correct. Hero Concepts, the team who made it kicks ass and has sequels in the works.
Mate he said it feels like a prototype……… It’s also his views on these games don’t take things so personally and he mentions SOR4 because to the majority of people that’s an easy comparison to convey what it most closely resembles.
