Similarly the order of decreasing Realised niche will be Habitat 2 >Habitat 3 >Habitat 1. Question No. 2 According to the latest concept of Type of niche a human being is displaying is the 'Generalist Specialist ' because the humans not only have wide range of resource utilization but have thrived in the extreme environment conditions too. Question No. 3 I think with the increase in the diversity the niche width and overlap at the species level will also get decreased as these species will restrict themselves to the narrower area in order to avoid any sort of competition. And on community level it will get broadened as each species will utilise resources of the newer areas also. Last Question. Specialist species are more prone to extinction than the generalized ones because of their narrower niche and limited number of resource utilization. Pls correct me sir if I will be wrong in any answers given.
