    Exactly, as an archer I despise wearing gloves and have always used a hand muff. I seem to be searching for an ideal muff every year, maybe this is the solution? I like the compact design. I was already trying to rig my muff on my tether, but this looks much better.

    That idea is awesome. I’m a 100% hand muff believer. I used to never use one until a few years ago and got one and now I am lost without it. I still used it with my saddle but this looks like it’s a way better idea then just wearing it around my waist with everything else. Hand muff and hot hands is just like your hands being inside your house lol. Great video and thanks for sharing.

    Interesting concept. Might be adding this one to my set up!

    I received mine this week I only wear thin UA gloves it was my first year in the saddle and I loved it but could never figure out how to keep my hands warm I requested mine with a Sherpa lining and it's just beautiful not even an upcharge plus I love the fact that I don't have 1more set of straps hanging around me!

    So I take my hand warmers out and put them in a freezer ziplock and that’s a lot more quite on stand than opening the package. I have another ziplock I put used ones in to turn them off. You can turn them off and reuse them as long as you cut off the air. I have done this for a few years now. Eberhart does a very informative video on warmers and that’s where I learned this and use it all the time

      Sweet. I did see the Eberhart video. Pretty slick idea!

      @@platinumpursuitoutdoors it does 100% work. I was iffy and tried it with one first and then it worked so as soon as I buy them I take all them out and put them in the baggie right away. I am always careful to make sure to get the bag zipped back and squeeze all the air out.

    Not a bad idea... however, I've not had any issue just running the muff strap around my two bridge lines instead of my waist and it pretty much creates the same condition...

    The hand warmers in the freezer bag will last all year. I have never tried a regular bag so not as noisy but if that would work I’m switching to it or even the slider freezer bags. I am trying them in the next couple weeks to see if it would work. Regardless the regular freezer ziplock is way better then the loud wrapper they come in for sure.

    I would like the option to put a zipper on that front pocket so I wouldn’t loose what I put in there

    Where do you get those small green tension bands? Not really sure what to call them??? Thanks for the review! Just bought one the other day.

      I’m not sure where they get them at. But I believe they are like a castration band.

    What badlands gear do you wear late season?

      If it is 20 below my go to is the Pyre! That thing is ridiculous! It can be a touch noisy on quiet days but I haven’t been busted with it.
      I use the Ovis base layers, scree pants then the Ascend pants over top.

      @@platinumpursuitoutdoors I am torn between getting a latitude method 2 xl and the cobra, 40 inch waste so I don't think the method 2 (regular) will fit. The cobra might be the saddle for me. We have a big show today (Outdoorama) and I hope Latitude will be there so I can try their saddle. Thanks for the great channel, I watch all your stuff. Looking for a review on the Cobra!

    I have been looking into these hand muffs. By chance is the hand muff wind or water proof or reistant ?

    • @jonathangrose3855
      @jonathangrose3855 2 роки тому +3

      Hey Josh! I'm one of the guys that makes the muffs. It is both wind and water resistant due to the Cordura outer core and its rubberized coating.
