I've also used the spackling like I use for icing on my fake baked. I pipe it out with a tiny hole tip. I make lines on parchment covering cardboard. I let dry then use clay blade to chop them up. I mix a little acrylic paint for each color. It makes a ton, and is less time consuming than some of the other, especially if you need bunches!!

Thanks for this most informative tutorial. My favorite is the spackle. I do some diamond painting and realized I could use my leftover diamond things as sprinkles. They are so colorful and small enough to be used as sprinkles. Just and idea for anyone else who also does diamond painting.
I recently started watching fake bake goodies and saw your videos. You are a true artist! I love your "baked goods," and appreciate that you share your wealth of knowledge and experience. Thanks and God bless you!
Happy new year and thanks for sharing all your secrets for doing sprinkles I love all of them but the one with the sparkle is the best Have a great day 😘
I’ve also rolled out polymer clay very thin like you used the Model Magic then I punched the clay pieces after it was baked. I did this 20+ years ago for nail art. So I have many tiny different shapes. I also use the craft foam with punches. Thank you Cindy for sharing your ideas! I have not seen the spakle method and love that idea. Very cost effective!
Thank you for all the great ideas! I also use foam sheets to make sprinkles as well. I can’t wait to see all the awesome things you make in the new year.
Here is a useful tip I discovered while making sprinkles out of model magic and wanting really bright colored sprinkles. After watching the beautiful bright colored sprinkles, I made with powered artist pigments, crumble when being cut when dry, and food color sprinkles bleeding into my icing just a bit even after they were dry, I got out a set of (water clean up) liquid artist pigments I found cheap on Amazon several years ago (24 colors for around 10 bucks then) , and wham, bright colors with a few drops, no crumbles, and the sprinkles turned out so bright and vibrant. Even the blacks and browns came out wonderfully dark. This is a very cost-effective method for bright sprinkles too. I've been using the same liquid pigments for other projects over the years and haven't even used 1/4 of the pigment in each bottle even after a sprinkle making extravaganza using four big packs of model magic.
LOL Cindy, I have sprinkle envy! I don’t know why, but all the mini candies and sprinkles make me so happy! Thanks for sharing! I can’t wait for your Valentines Day DIYs. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Cindy. Great video, I’m looking forward to your videos this year. I’m a cookie decorator myself. I love how you have incorporated the real stuff with fake baking❤️

You’re so welcome! Do you ever marble your colors together hen making sprinkles? I though it was kind of neat! I also twisted a 3 colors together and rolled them like a long skinny snake (like you showed). Wondered about marbling my spackel colors together before piping for decoration and to use to make sprinkles like you came up with! Just wondered if that something you’ve done! Thanks again!
