I have watched Mark and Terry from day one and still do they're my favorite deer hunters I've taken bigger deer because of them thank you so much for the videos Mark and Terry
Man.the good ol days!! Me & my brother use to watch you & terrys videos back in tbe 90's.i still to this day watch the old vhs cassets on my old tv-vcr combo.i usuly watch them.around sept just before bow season here in arkansas.i ove it.you & youre brother are my kind of folks.thanks for all the years of entertainment & education.
@@DruryOutdoors thank you.i have an 8 year old son now & we watch togather.carying on the tradition.we as hunters & conservatives have to stick togather to keep our heratige alive.thank you for replying back & you have a great safe season my friend.from arkansas.
monster in my book. still cant believe this is how you and terry got started and im so happy u did. You 2 have done great and you make my fav hunting vids. hope you guys are around for a long time.
I remember this video and watching that big buck going up the hill side, I remember exactly what I said when I seen it, that was the biggest deer I have ever seen.
Great video, back to when they hunted the woods instead of these dang box blinds lol. I remember buying this and many more of the early videos, still have them.
Thanks for watching! And we still love our tree stands, but the box blinds allow us better control over scent. Plus, after Terry's fall, we've all felt a bit safer hunting out of the box blinds. It hits a little differently when someone so close to home has a near death experience like that. Hope you have a great season, and thank you so much for all the support over the years! Best of luck to ya bud!
Gosh what great memory's with this one!! My very first hunting video I rented was Monster Bucks I have been hooked every since, THANK YOU so much Mark and Terry!!!!
I miss the hardwood timber hunts Drury use to have every season! Now it's just sit on a green field in a blind. I get it though, why go into the timber when they come to the field. Mark and Terry are big buck killers!
It’s is absolutely incredible to that 25 or so years ago deer of this caliber were so rare that even seeing one was something to talk about. And now look at the amazing bucks that are being killed now in 2018. The progression of antler genetics and age class in the Midwest is incredible. 200” deer are being killed by the truck load and 150” deer are everywhere! Thank you Drurys for pioneering the sport and the tactics involved!
Everyone is worried about FPS these days with archery equipment. With that slower bow, heavy aluminum arrows, and fixed blade broadhead, that arrow went through that buck like a hot knife through butter. Id take a slower bow with heavy arrow setup over a fast bow with light arrow setup any day!
@@jdmcnugent6808 hes good because of the old days...he killed big deer in hard places like normal people...that success lead him to be in the position hes in today....Make no mistake the man knows deer....
@@racker7855 he hunted outfitters like this one in the video back in the old days right?? Ive bow hunted for over 30 years myself. Ive taken almost 35 bucks that all score over 140 with a bow and all on private and public ground so I can say I know a thing or two about deer. Not trying to take anything from mark but again his success is because he Hunts "prime ground "
The way he hunts now there's nothing to it, the only thing he worries about is what to plant in the ground and what kind of feed to pour out for them, the deer he killed back then he lets go now, they had to get out and hunt back then they don't now. You don't see mark in a tree stand now!!
18:10 "gotta savor this moment, doesnt happen to me much" fast forward 30years and he knows exactly what time, ridge/bottom, and the exact tree they are gonna come by....gotta start somewhere. Nice throwback video
I think you guys need to go back to this kind of real hunting, like in the woods hunting. Sitting here thinking, almost all of the new hunts are in big comfy box blinds on field edges loaded with food. Nothing wrong with that but would be nice to see a little timber hunting, old school.... i've been a follower forever of the Drury bros, I'll be here til there is no more.
I would agree with that big Dave. I want to see some climb up in a good Ol lock on in the timber hunting those bucks. Hell Mark and Terry also need to put on that Ol bottomland camo and climb up and put some vids out. Man watching these old hunts take me back. I can remember renting these old VHS movies at the movie store in town when I was 18. That’s how I started bowhunting back in the early 90s.

Love these old hunts
Really nice to hear the deer, jays, and sounds of the woods - not all drowned out by a bunch of music. Wish all the new videos were this way.

He wouldn’t even take a 2nd look at that buck nowadays lol. He still gets this excited which I love!
I feel blessed to have been able to grow with our hunting opportunities over the years, and yes, I still get VERY excited lol

Cool stuff! The evolution of the Drury's deer knowledge and equipment technology and monster harvests for the past 30 years is amazing.

“the biggest buck ive ever seen in my life and probably will be” 😂😂😂 ya okay mark lmao
i realize it is pretty off topic but do anyone know of a good place to stream newly released series online?
@Jadiel Ethan Flixportal xD
@Randall Sonny thanks, I signed up and it seems to work =) I appreciate it!
@Jadiel Ethan no problem xD
Only he if knew back then, that one day he would cross paths with a buck named "Danger".

If you still have this mindset you and my hunting buddy would get along great 🤣💯
I love Marks excitement over that " Big Deer" The ones he takes these days makes that one look like Bambi👍
If he only would of known how incredible his life was gonna turn out!! One of the best whitetail hunters out there!!
Your only as good as the places you hunt. If There are no big bucks where you hunt... Then you won't kill one. No matter how good you are.

No safety harnesses back in the day !
My all time favorite was mark harvesting that 195 inch Wisconsin monster I could watch that hunt everyday
I shot the deer in my profile picture during the 2017 Missouri archery season. It was officially scored as a 192" NET Non-typical. 197" Gross.
I'm sorry who asked

Brian James lol that’s right I guess I missed where they said hey Brian James what did the deer score in your picture
The biggest buck I saw was 20 yards and the gun went click
Hopefully you get a big one this year!

I have this VHS Video! Just PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blast from the past! I think I still have a bow around here somewhere that is identical LOL
Deer acting goosey.

Wouldn't the buck he killed on Monster Bucks 1 be his first monster buck?
