The KNAFS video library is amazing. Thank you for another great interview. I love all my Work Sharp products. They have revolutionized my sharpening skills.
I'm excited to hear about some finer grits for the Precision Adjust, but I'd love a 100 grit for quicker reprofiling too. Work Sharp makes great stuff.
Worksharp will forever be my knife sharpening go to, the olny complaints I had with the original precision adjust were heard and fixed with the pro, amazing customer feedback and that is something that I really appreciate, keep the amazing sharpening tools coming and the amazing customer service and I will keep advocating for yall at the top of my lungs
I agree with Elan: my first thought when I saw the Folding Field Sharpener was "That would be awesome if it was ceramic and a strop." I do 95% of my sharpening on the Guided Field Sharpener, but I only ever use the diamond stones a few times a year. On the other hand, I hone and strop my edge about twice a month; so I would love to see a compact ceramic and strop combo!
That worksharp precision unit really improved the edges on all my knives. Im a collector that uses all of them. I suck at maintaining a consistent angle. Worksharp made it easy! My knives and I thank you😊
I sharpen by hand on Japanese whetstones, but I love Work Sharp, love their products, love how responsive they are to the community. I really should pick up one of those motorized sharpeners. The Ken Onion model looks very appealing, Edit: You really missed an opportunity to test how sharp Kyle's knife actually is. As well as showing the knife, you could also do some paper cut tests to see whether he actually practices what he preaches and keeps that knife in his pocket SHARP!
I love everything knafs is doing..... but the poster's..... tho sadly i don't have any YET!!!!! Might be cooler than the new tanto lander2... very awesome guys...
Worksharp had a Benchmade collaboration folding sharpener with a ceramic and strop in one unit. The new one is essentially a new version with ceramic and diamond. All 3 options in one folding tool would be great for an EDC or truck sharpener.
Love what you both do. I bought the Guided Field Sharpener last month at Academy Sports after hearing it recommended by so many people. First sharpener, first time sharpening a knife, which was my first “real” EDC knife, being sharpened for the first time ever. It was my Kershaw Select Fire 1920 I EDCed for 8 years. The WSGFS brought an edge back to the 8Cr13MoV in no time.
I sharpen everything on my work sharp with the grinder attachment, pocket knives ,kitchen knives lawn mower blades I’ve even used it to reshape knife scales and its a must have to repair large chips in machetes
Spyderco... Sal had this all figured out a long time ago. I still have the VHS instructional video that came with my first sharpmaker. I also have a pricey wicked edge.
When will worksharp finally offer more (higher grit) abrasives for the professional precision adjust?? Also blank leather strops with the fine side up to use diamond emulsions would be needed.
15:38 i have a small collection of knives with Jade G10 scales. I bought a Lander and swapped out the scales. I added a second goal to get a knife with all lock types and opening mechanisms. So a fixed blabe, slip joints, flipper, thumb stud, and a Radius. My pride and now is my assisted open Barrage. So far 17 G10's. It's fun and I rotate them thru EDC. Looking for two G10 autos, OTF and side opening in the sub $250 range to complete my goals. I enjoy the hunt for more G10 variants. Yes, I do have some none G10's. For example, my first knife was a Buck 501, a gift from the wife. Enjoyed the video it was fun.
Have 3 different work Sharp products and love them all. Would love the powered version though. Maybe one day. I will say that Work Sharp has hands down the best customer service there is.
Every knife I have gets carried, and some think I'm a heathen for this but most get thrown in a gallon zip-lock back with the other ones. They are all scratched up before going in the bag so in my opinion it can't hurt them any. Though my signed Lander 1 is sitting in Civivi's version of a knife burrito, and doesn't get carried as often now that it's more out of sight.
I love my Ken onion edition belt sharpener, been using it for years and last year I got the blade grinding attachment and it’s the best system hands down. Especially if you like convex edges like I do.
I have a precision adjust elite kit, worth every penny, but I definitely just use the ceramic and strop rods most often by far, usually without attaching them. if that folding pocket thingy was ceramic and strop I'd pick one up
My only safe queen is a doughnut Elementum II! I have a regular Elementum II that I use all the time, and the thing I love about the doughnut version is the paint on the blade and the printed handle, so I figure there's no point in scratching up the best bit about it.
The Cosmos mixup is so funny to me, it really makes me wonder what sequence of events could have caused that to happen. Truly a “cosmic” occurrence, which is even stranger the more that I think about it 😂. Happy to see it ended up on today’s episode, thank you for that!
On the $15 pocket sharpener. You should have made the fine stone flippable so it also had coarse on one side too. Would have been a cool touch. Then just up the price to $20
On the precision adjust sharpener, does it affect the edge that the tri abrasive pivots/rocks back and forth along the edge? Also looking for tips on consistency from choil to tip. Thanks guys.
Dude I couldn't find one of the guards for my Work Sharp Mk1 Since it had been discontinued you guys are sending me a whole new mark 2 Electric sharpener😮😊
Maybe a magnetic or snap in double sided plate for the folding field sharpener. One side could hold a leather and ceramic plate. The other side could hold a double sided course and medium grit. Or just glue a piece of leather on the non clip side.
How common is it to see a knife blade chip slightly the first few times it is sharpened. I have a PM 2 in Cru Wear and it has chipped near the tip several times. Thx
OH damn.... Tanto..... I must have this knife.... Unless you make a Tanto Lander 4....? Also love Worksharp, I have a few of their sharpeners and have gifted a few.
I was thinking it would be cool if You and some of the other knifetube community did a series about the soul of knifes. There is something about a knife that has a good “feel”/soul that you cant always put into everything even if it is a “flawless“ knife. Sometimes the “perfect “ knifes seem too sterile. I was thinking about stuff like victorinox not even close to perfect but we all love them. Or how ugly Spyderco is yet we can’t put them down.
Worksharp is such a great brand, they make engineering simply 😎 cool! My question is what would it be your go-to basic freehand starter kit (other than the rotating triangle thing), lets say something like three stones i.e. 400, 600,1000 and a base, or how would you approach it? Great vid tks!!
I NEED a Work Sharp knife sharpener.. I'm fairly new to the Knife world and I have no idea how to properly sharp a knife.. When a knife of mine dulls I just buy another one LMAO 🤣
KME makes a rod specifically for convex edges. Does Worksharp plan on doing that for the Pro system? Hope so, otherwise I’m going to need to win the giveaway for the belt sander. Thanks in advance 😂
I have a love hate relationship with worksharp. I lave the products and own many of them, but I reside outside of the US and thus I cant get spare parts. I have spoken to WS but they don’t want accommodate me. They even block other US retailers to ship outside of the US. Great products, poor service.
People should learn how to freehand sharpen. The only thing worksharp should be used for is recurved blades. Even that with the right stones you can do freehand.
Some of my favorite people in one video? At one desk?? Haven't liked a video this quickly in a while.
Lots of love for both of these sweet dudes.
The KNAFS video library is amazing. Thank you for another great interview. I love all my Work Sharp products. They have revolutionized my sharpening skills.
I love worksharp mostly because its just simple and efficient. Sweet video Guys🎉
I'm excited to hear about some finer grits for the Precision Adjust, but I'd love a 100 grit for quicker reprofiling too. Work Sharp makes great stuff.

Knafs and WorkSharp in one video. Excellent!!
I love Kyle. Pantone is 7409C.
My man 😃
That worksharp precision unit really improved the edges on all my knives. Im a collector that uses all of them. I suck at maintaining a consistent angle. Worksharp made it easy! My knives and I thank you😊
The great thing about precision adjust sharpeners is you can reliably sharpen perfectly while watching FOOTBALL. LOL
I sharpen by hand on Japanese whetstones, but I love Work Sharp, love their products, love how responsive they are to the community. I really should pick up one of those motorized sharpeners. I've interacted with a lot of Knafs people via email, and they've all been very nice! Thanks to Vella, Jenn, and Robyn!
You sound like a nightmare customer
WOO WOO! Enjoy the box car Kyle! From my favorite knife company to my favorite knife sharpening company! 🚂
Did not think that I would enjoy a knife sharpening duel as much as I thought I would!
I love everything knafs is doing..... but the poster's..... tho sadly i don't have any YET!!!!! Might be cooler than the new tanto lander2... very awesome guys...
I love how the new tanto knife is blurred on the closeup and then not in the very next shot! :)
Ok so far I’ve got the lander 1 in 14c the sendy and lander 4 that I backed…..I’m becoming a fan boy
Welcome!

Spyderco... Sal had this all figured out a long time ago. I still have the VHS instructional video that came with my first sharpmaker. I also have a pricey wicked edge.
Work Sharp have allowed people like me to be able to sharpen my knives to very sharp. I Also have that Bugout. I love it.
I love worksharp. I have a few but ever since I got a variable speed bench grinder I’m good.
When will worksharp finally offer more (higher grit) abrasives for the professional precision adjust?? Also blank leather strops with the fine side up to use diamond emulsions would be needed.
14C28N is my steel of choice. My Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener puts a hair popping edge on my 14C28N blades.
14C28N is great stuff.

Hello! can you put a mirror edge only with diamond plates and leather? Thanks
I have a precision adjust elite kit, worth every penny, but I definitely just use the ceramic and strop rods most often by far, usually without attaching them. if that folding pocket thingy was ceramic and strop I'd pick one up
I have the Ken Onion Angle Set sharpener and use it quite a bit. Works great. Keep up the great videos!
Work Sharp! Please make a strop and compound to keep our convex edges sharp.
They do sell a "Cloth Belt Kit" with red and green compound for the Ken Onion sharpeners! Not sure why Kyle didn't use it, but they work great.
My only safe queen is a doughnut Elementum II! I have a regular Elementum II that I use all the time, and the thing I love about the doughnut version is the paint on the blade and the printed handle, so I figure there's no point in scratching up the best bit about it.
Kyle, where were the green and red compound stropping belts? I use them often and they give great results, just wish they didn't frey so much
The Cosmos mixup is so funny to me, it really makes me wonder what sequence of events could have caused that to happen. Truly a “cosmic” occurrence, which is even stranger the more that I think about it 😂. Happy to see it ended up on today’s episode, thank you for that!
It came in a Knafs box so you could almost argue that it's the first Knafs x Munko collab!
@ This is true…maybe we are onto something here! 🤔
I love your knives and sense of humor. Keep it up!
I went to the giveaway page and it gives me the fine print but there is no place to put any information in or enter. Am I doing something wrong?
I had the same issue
I LOVE RUNNING AROUND WALMART YELLING "I LOVE THE SHIP SHAPE SHARPENING SHOP "LIKE REPEATEDLY 😅😅😅😅😅😅
On the $15 pocket sharpener. You should have made the fine stone flippable so it also had coarse on one side too. Would have been a cool touch. Then just up the price to $20

A tanto Lander 4...... Interesting.....
Way to go Keith!
That is a sharp knife
To be fair, both of the knives Keith and Kyle sharpened are more then acceptably sharp. Keith just went the extra mile.
Been wanting to grab a ken onion! The gifts auto add to the order?
Sharpening question for Kyle: Which is the best - sharpening INTO or AWAY FROM the cutting edge for the best burr?
I think they have a video on exactly this topic. Check out the Work Sharp youtube channel.
Was planning on making a comment about going "mano a mano with Keith"then saw it was already asked for....so just addingg my vote for this.
What are diamond sharpeners good for
I still have my original knife and tool sharpener from years ago. Still runs.
Love the video always looking forward to the new knafs at night video ❤
What angle is the absolute best for an EDC folder?
Ben watching you dull that blade on that curb just killed me piece by piece at every push and pull.
I was thinking it would be cool if You and some of the other knifetube community did a series about the soul of knifes. There is something about a knife that has a good “feel”/soul that you cant always put into everything even if it is a

I use the precision elite
I already ordered the knife for my hubby. LMAO He's a major fan of Tanto blades.
Whoop whoop. I hope it's a hit.
The worksharp field sharpener in my Knafs burrito is perfect for everyday !
I use mine all the time.
I like everything knafs and worksharp
So when can we expect the ceramic/strop pocket combo colab gentleman?
Worksharp is such a great brand, they make engineering simply 😎 cool! My question is what would it be your go-to basic freehand starter kit (other than the rotating triangle thing), lets say something like three stones i.e. 400, 600,1000 and a base, or how would you approach it? Great vid tks!!
That knife on the curb personally hurt me
I NEED a Work Sharp knife sharpener..
Work sharp helps keep your knife cool and sexy. Encouraging people to use and maintain their gear by themselves.
KEITH
KEITH!
I’ve tried beating Keith at sharpening! He’s beat me every time.😅 but I’m getting closer each time!!
One thing I will say is Keith dominated!
Ben please talk sense into the work sharp guy... the web exclusive for pocket sharpeners is only available to USA fans😢....
That pocket sharpener would fit perfectly in the Knafs maintenance burrito #moonies
Another dynamite interview/commentary
How did Ben not know that a more obtuse angle would create a stronger edge as a knife maker this is basic knowledge

The over use of the term "technology" is annoying IMHO.
