Thanks for uploading the video. I am confused between morel maximo mk ii/ steg leo and audison prima apk 165....I do not listen to a lot of loud music and i prefer a soft bass with crisp vocals instead. Which setup would you suggest for my usage?

Have heard alot good about Steg Leo & JL Audio C1-650X. Also they are in 10k range if i am not wrong whereas Morel Maximo is around 5-6k range.
This model is a bit on the brighter side. Especially with Maruti stereo, flat graph is brighter.

Please suggest me which head unit will be good and if Morel Maximo speakers will suit the unit.
Do you have a stock head unit, if so try with it first. If you prefer to go with Android, you can check Onkyo.
Morel will perform well with all good head units, except cheap android units.

ordered one pair...have an onkyo stereo...does the volume need to be pushed too much to get decent bass as they are 90rms..or they produce good punch at lower volumes too? i basically like you like clean clear music with that present bass punch where needed..can you please shed some light..thanks a ton
If you like clean and clear music with moderate bass, you will love it.
Volume depends upon your EQ, Fader settings. Keep the Tweeters over A pillar, as I described in my article. You will enjoy it...

Am planning to go for MMMK3 component for front as well back for my swift, is it works.
Car sound system is not like 5.1. It must have stage effect.
Really, there is no need for rear component speakers as it will overlap the sound stream in a small car. Coaxial is enough. If you still want it, location of its tweeter is important. Please read my detailed thread given.

I am looking to buy there, the normal maximo 6 have a crossover and these do not, i have bought a aftermarket pioneer headunit, i dont know if i should buy the maximo 6 with crossover or mk2 without crossover, how will these connect i dont know
Go for Maximo 6 MK3, the new version with crossover if affordable and available there.

@@VorzacKgo for steg...I had steg..removed them and installed maximos ..steg are much better in terms of bass depth, vocals and tweeters

I have changed only the front speakers. Rear speakers are Nippon OE speakers that have good bass.
If you are for better Bass, please add a SW and tune as per your liking.
If you don't want to add SW or Amplifier, try to add speaker baffles, it improves.
I did the same... Added under seat subwoofer along with Morel Component speaker in front and Morel Coaxial in rear doors.
Did Morel Damping too 😂
I have installed the same speakers in xuv 300 with proper damping and running with factory head unit , but it doesn't sound good. Have you installed and amplifier? Trying to find out the reason
I didn't install any Amplifier. Check your Head Unit configuration and EQ. Check the polarity of your speaker connection.

There's no custom pod, as it would be different to different make of cars.

i have infinity ref 6×9 under seat and also jbl tweeters on dash do you think its worth getting these would it be an upgrade, also im into sound clarity,somewhat neutral kind of signature, sound seperation and sound stage

This is an excellent budget speaker. How can be compared with a very high end speaker MVN 603 that is 10 times more expensive?
Thanks for the video. I installed these components in both front and rear. I could imagine myself when reading your article. The tweeters that are installed on the door pillar are too dominant even at -4 and I am not able to enjoy the bass and overall sound. Can you please help me fine tune the treble and bass. Btw I am from Blr
Please let me know about your car model, Head unit details also exact door pillar and any amplifier. installed.
Also, Select Rock in Head unit Equalizer and check.

@@harsvar3961 Better check 1. Disconnecting rear tweeters. 2. Relocate the front tweeter position to A pillar as I did.
3. Adjust the Fader control more towards rear while hearing a favourite song with good bass and treble.

In addition to this I got nakamichi dsp 6 channel with 4 channel in-built amplifier from Amazon and used existing kenwood under seat subwwoofer and original maruti head unit from Bosch.
Entire Installation done by local technician for around 3500 rs and importantly tuned the entire setup with an professional audio expert for 2000 rs.
Which gave me complete result for investment made. Time correction, audio equaliser tuning.. fantastic result with high clarity pure audio.

I think, you're asking about Bass. Bass is really good without an Amplifier and Subwoofer. If you look for a Deep, power bass that's louder, need to add Amp and Sub in any car.

It's not Android. It's Maruti Suzuki company fitted Harman Head Unit.
You used amplifier or from hed unit simply?
No Amplifier. Just replaced the original OE speakers.

@@basejumperdx4573 It is designed to add parallel to speaker connection and works well.
Actually I have connected to OE tweeters spot @ sail panel.
If you want a dedicated crossover, try the new model, Mark III.
