- Here is the 6th installment of my “History Of” series
In this video I go over the history of Chuck E. Cheese's in the Bowlin City, also known as Bowling Green Kentucky!
This video idea goes back to May 2021, just after the last CEC history video, because of how extremely well that video did I decided to do more CEC content in the form of continuing to talk about different locations, and since I'm familiar with Bowling Green I decided it was next!
I just want to thank all the websites and people who helped me complete this movie!

Here’s how Chuck E. Cheese 2.0 can get improved.
Keep the animatronics
Give new cosmetics for the animatronics
Add all costumes to all locations
Improve the dance floor and keep it with the animatronics.
Make bigger locations
Use updated Mitzi and dook and change cosmetics to Helen and pasqually.
Add more arcade games
And add more personality to the locations
And change the logo to not look like something off Microsoft paint

the chuck e cheese location in laurel md is closed but i don't know if they're going to get a remodel or turn into a restrurant.
Those all sound great but I Don’t think the Building can handle the power and the building might have a Dark few minutes
Imagine new Animatronics in the style of the Studio C Chucky, not only would it be more advanced but it would also fit the style of the current cartoony designs
This was amazing. I never dreamed I'd ever see interior pictures/video of the original Bowling Green location ever again: I thought it was long forgotten. It was a glorious store! And yes-that ball pit was enormous. I had to be rescued from "drowning" in it by workers on more than one occasion. But the best parts were the turtle rides and of course the cheese maze.

How to improve the CEC 2.0 showroom
1. Dim the showroom lights
2. Make the animatronics interact with the dance floor somehow
3. Add latex cosmetics and replace them over time
Thank you, so much for doing the history of my childhood Chuck E. Cheese! You don’t know how much this makes me happy!
P.S. I currently work at this location and our remodel/ relocation is set for June/ July 2022.
Also, as a kid we did in fact have the SkyTubes but it was taken out in the early mid 2010s.
Skytubes were there by 2015, they were removed sometime in the mid 2010’s

Born, raised, and still live in BG. Been to the Mall location many many times. I also remember possibly the only true competitor they ever had was a place called Zap Zone. It has laser tag and a huge jungle gym. Zap zone closed suddenly, similar to Pizza Time. Thank you for the interesting history of a place I’ve spent so many hours inside!
As someone who spent a lot of time in the original BG location, you got everything right. I still have the layout of that Chuck E. Cheese burned into my head. The tiny area for the flying turtles were right next to the ball pit. I seem to remember them having a really old submarine like arcade game right before you went into the main stage area. The King's cabaret room was in the furthest left corner of the place and I spent a lot of time there. The wall of skee ball machines, the cheese maze under the stage...man you don't know how happy this video made me.
I can't believe Rockford IL is getting 2.0 next year. It's the last Rocker stage in the world. :(

actually, we did have skytubes once! if i remember correctly they were removed for unknown reasons around 2018-2019... really sucks because that was one of my friends and i's favorite parts, i have a vague memory of yelling hi to my grandmother from the cage it had :)
I remember always yelling down at my brothers from the cage! So many memories at this location
I had no idea my hair salon used to be a CEC. Awesome! The mall one was my childhood!
When I was little, they had the grandfather clock chair thing you would sit in. When it would spin it would take you up higher and then bring you back down, it was cool.
At some locations they still have it
CORRECTION! The Chuck E cheese's In Greenwood Mall space was a "Hometown Buffet" before Chuck e cheese's renovated and moved in

This location used to be my 2nd local. I liked it. the layout was incredible and the animatronic was in pretty good condition
Chuck E Cheese looked so awesome in the 80s, and this comes from someone who grew up with Avenger Chuck E. I love how snarky the PTT era Chuck was. I really hate the Rockstar Era Chuck E for a multitude of reasons, but one of the biggest reasons is that he's TOO realistic. I know Chuck was originally supposed to be a rat, but at least the previous versions looked cartoony enough, while Rockstar Chuck E looks like a mouse or rat you'd find in a mousetrap.

The Chuck E Cheese closing unexpectedly reminds me about how in the first Fnaf game, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closes due to "unexplained reasons"

I really hope you can do the one in Saginaw Michigan. I remember when they were renovating the restaurant, they used a dumpster from my grandpa (he has a small dumpster rental company). I remember that I went in the dumpster to check it out as he let me go into them to explore. I sadly didn't find any animatronics as this was the time FNAF was pretty popular and took a lot of my attention. There were some old games and one figure of a green alien with green eyes, I think it was a part of a game, and my cousin actually took it for a race car ornament. I assume the animatronics were sent to corporate, or auctioned off because they weren't thrown out (if they were, I would have salvaged them TRUST ME lol)

im still glad my cec is still here animatronic and all but its the studio c one i remember when it was the full stage i was like 4 then tho
Idk if it’s a possible, but it would be very interesting to see a video on the history of CEC in Calgary AB. Im pretty sure it had a balcony stage, and I know for sure it had a king animatronic. Currently it has a studio c cappa.

Bowling Green actually did have sky tubes, they removed them, I remember getting hurt on them when I was younger once

Its kinda amusing to me (but not really) how much I, along with everybody my age, loved the original CEC and the animatronics and the guys in costume (theyd come out for birthdays etc) and then they just seemingly randomly decided to just get rid of it all and change it for no reason (again...seemingly) and replace it with this new garbage.

I think the reason why this location hasn't gotten 2.0 yet is because of the age of the Location. It's NOT EVEN 20 Years-old yet.
Also, Sadly, As of October 2022, Bowling Greens Location, sadly got 2.0.
