Here's a basic rundown of what I used to get started organizing and decorating my Filofax calendar & planners. Although, I mention Filofax these tips apply for all types of 3 ring agendas including Franklin Covey, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton and more. I am currently using a spiral bound calendar (similar to Whitney English DayDesigner or the Erin Condren planner) and I decorate it exactly the same way as I did my Filofax.
