Excellent coverage without the initial grind I saw a thousand times already and with really special and helpful tips and tricks. You definitly deserve more attention.
I appreciate it Aaron, and that was kind of what I was assuming. I knew most creators would probably be going through the "discovery" phase. I figured I'd just skim it and jump into the factory part :)
It is like satisfactory but underground Which is factorio but in 3D Which is Fortresscraft but in 2D Fortresscraft has frozen factory DLC where you build factory in great underground caverns to terraform them. It was fortresscraft all along!
this game reminds me a lot of a "what if factorio was 3D." absolutely love that you can put things like inserters and belts right into your inventory instead of submats like in satisfactory.
Yea, Factorio was definitely a trailblazer for the factory genre. You can see it's influence in several games and Techtonica is no exception. It's great to see more high quality factory games coming to the market. Variety is the spice of life :)
Funny you did the same trick with the Limestone as I did in the Alpha/Demo. I really wished there was a "slot limit" feature like in Factorio where you can just drag a limit. Even better would be if you could assign slots specific items (also like in Factorio).
I'm fairly sure this is something the developers would like to add in some form. With any luck it will come in the QoL 0.1.1 update. But I'm pretty sure that what gets prioritized for that update will depend on player feedback after launch. Definitely something to upvote whenever their feedback site goes live. It would be a huge QoL feature :)
Fair point! Been swamped! Things are finally starting to lighten up, so I''m putting my nose to the grind on videos. I do have Satisfactory content coming, just a shame I can't do this full time!
Oh this was cool. Looking forward to more. Also I love the fact that you didn't pave paradise to put in a parking lot but rather used the walls overlooking in order to still allow the beauty of the cavern to work - which is something I hope you do here too. But yeah this was cool.
Love the game, can't wait for early access. However, the new "tier unlocked" visual is too much! Being forced to wait for it to fully play out without the chance to do anything else than walking around and waiting for around 10 seconds for it to finish is not how it should be in my opinion. Especially since you have to go through this every time you progress a tier. You see him even editing it out of the video. The visual should be at least skippable. What do you think?
Agreed, when I first saw it I thought it was pretty cool. But I could understand after seeing it a few dozen times that it might get a little annoying. That said, I know they will have a feedback site available on Day 1 so people can start giving them their thoughts. It will definitely help them prioritize things in the upcoming updates.
@@relyengaming You're right! As I was experimenting quite a lot, and by adding more stuff without planning, it was quite a mess. BUT in my 2nd start I am happier because I could manage with planning and have a better look for my modules ;)
Please continue giving us little recommendations about "where to build" and "where not to build". I hate making mistakes costing me hundreds of hours to move a factory.
They sent it out to some content creators about a week early. I know that frustrates some folks. But, this basically increases visibility for the game overall and generates more interest. Which is very important to help them reach far more people than they could just relying the things like the Steam page to do it alone. It's basically a marketing strategy. But the good news is, you don't have to wait much longer :)
the first few hours worth of sales on Steam boosts whether the game gets front page featured. The Hype-pump can be painful, and I feel your pain as a major impulse buyer... but just a week so it only feels like 5 months.
@@Hawkido Yes! Exactly! I know I’m in a lucky position on this release timing. But I totally get how a week can feel like a really long time. But once you get it, hours will feel like minutes and you will wonder where the time went!
That playtime count, lol. Loving the vid, Relyen! Thank you!
Such a great job Fire Hose Games and congratulations on reaching Early Access!!
@@relyengaming Thanks so much!

Lol .. Truly, you have a dizzying intellect :)
Ahh, who doesn't love claustrophobic Satisfactory! Can't wait. Plus I love me some voxel terrain!
Yea, it's fun to be able to dig out any space you want for the factories you want to build. Or just pathways between :)
2:55 Loot goblin mode activated
Hunting for all the secret stashes is fun 😄

Satisfactory video when? Would love to see you post about your aluminium plant you've been streaming on!

Sounds like one of those makeup tutorials...
@@Hawkido hah, those are popular though! I do have many hours of footage to sift through though. Need to get faster at editing!
Super fast pacing! Or is that real-time speed for you now that you've got over 700 hours experience under your keyboard?
That was just my attempt to mimic Edd's productivity speed :P
Techtonica! YEAAH
So glad to finally be playing it again and out in the open :)

I'm excited for when you start making com-POW-nants again hahaha
oh yeah there it is 18:00
Glorious com-POW-nants!
Your a life saver and officially my teacher now.
Thanks! Glad to hear you found it useful!
Loving that content! Excellent job. That will inspire me for my next game. My first start was quite a mess/spaghetti that I can stand for!
If your first factory isn't a spaghetti mess, are you really even playing? :)
