The Spanish Flu was everywhere. I remember my grandmother talking about it......she said lots of people died from it. My grandmother was born in 1886. My Mother was born in 1912. The flu didn't hit them, but my Mom's baby sister, born in 1917. had rheumatic fever at some time in childhood and it left her with a damaged heart. She passed away at age 13.
A cemetery in Denison Texas it so old never see anyone in it. It out on road mine street. One another one out in a it old real old. Here in Farmersville Texas on 2691 FM. No one goes there.
They most likely died from the Spanish Flu. Seems they all died in the same few month of 1918 so 😥. My grandmother and a.l her siblings had it and their father at the same time. Their mother didn't come down with it. She said her mother held a tea cup under my mamaws nose to catch the blood that the virus caused horrible nose bleeds.
I'm Appalachian from the smokies and that Spanish flu killed so many too in Virginia and Tennessee where my ancestors settled.😢
Oh goodness.

Spanish flu hit Arkansas in Sept and October 1918, so it could have been cause of death for people in cemetery.
