Lots of problems but main thing to start is Dennison needs to go. Even though he “removed” himself from the EC, he’s the top dog that allowed this all to happen and will still profit off the federation. They can try to shuffle the deck all they want but the key players must be completely removed.
Well, I guess the issue then is that they can’t get rid of him because it’s his private company. It’s a similar thing with Robert Wilks out in Australia.
@@CoachArian Bingo. You can tell they're scrambling with an "update" every day trying to appease people, but if you read the comments it's all about the people who own the company still being involved and their fake HR dept.
@@BasementBrandon We'll see if people end up forgetting and moving on to some new drama. Plus, new people coming in and not knowing what happened. Like I was surprised to see so many lifters have competed for USPC on OpenPowerlifting given the major issue there with their leadership.
Unfortunately, I don’t know how wild it is since similar things have happened in other powerlifting federations and other sports like gymnastics. And then there’s the corruption in other sports like weightlifting or FIFA.
@@CoachArian the crazy thing is, is I used to compete in this league 20 years ago, and I did a come back a year ago. I kicked some major butt, again! Anyway, it is disappointing to hear a league that I looked up to and then you hear this stuff. I hope this will turn things around and it’s going to be hard to gain peoples trust in this division.
@@CoachArian I’m retired now. I wanted to compete and make national records. It took a toll on my body. I just stay in shape and still stay tuned to the sport. I love the sport! I also competed in USApowerlifting league too but USPA was were I started and would recommend folks to go there and join.
This is the best account of what happened and the ONLY clear headed discussion of steps to take going forward. Well done.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Thanks for this, Arian! Was looking to get back into it and saw changes happening in Montana and wanted to see what was up!
No problem!

Wow man. This is wild.

@@CoachArian yeah, some federations are led by people who care about their status and their money more than they care for their athletes.
That is crazy!
We’ll see if any other names come out. One new story already came out after I recorded this video.

@@lunamonsofficial are you looking to compete somewhere else if they don’t change?

Can USPA really survive this?
So far, it seems like they're still surviving.
Honestly embarrassing to have a membership right now
Good thing they put everyone on auto renewal without telling them lol
Holy shit, I don’t even think the IWF is this bad
I don’t know how bad IWF is with this kind of scandal but they do have major drug testing problems that involves corruption from leadership.
Shit rolls downhill so leadership has to go
Seems like much of the leadership has been removed at this point. But I don’t see Denison ever going because he owns the company.
