Beautiful channel. And thanks for the interview. I was an intake worker in my state and seeing this is so healing. I am also a survivor of childhood abuse. This is the first YT channel I have seen in this topic.
Very touching story. It's amazing how the scars of abuse follow into adulthood. I am middle aged now, but still remember how my body would shake and my heart would beat so fast when my dad got his angry look in his eyes and I knew a beating was coming. I still can't handle when people raise their voices at me. I am so happy that you have a wonderful family that you created for yourself.
Okay, this is a book and movie. ❤. I love it. I hope to see more interviews, maybe from different states. I envision a format with a table, you two, the hosts and a guest or two. This would make a great pod set for those who don't want to show their face or say their name or state, to keep privacy, etc. This was incredibly healing for me as we did t get to see the outcome of reports we wrote up from intake calls. Also, the intake workers take a vow to not discuss stuff, but I am free. I no longer do that kind of work. I feel like I have never forgotten the stuff I had to write about real people.
@@spunkycat6144 Thank you so much for your comments, I’m glad it was able to help you. When I came on to share my story, my goal was to at least help one person, your comment means a lot to me!❤️
Thank you for sharing your story, Tiffany!
