People say what they will about apocrypha but I love the hell out of it. Great music track, some bad ass fights and interesting possibilities. Wish more was done with it but we got what we got.

Apocrypha was fun but it would benefit from a rewrite (not the would happen)

There was one fanfic called Fate/Magnum Bellum that had Jeanne summon Proto-Arthur as backup and that was the main pairing. Plus the characters were somewhat changed in both factions with the Case Files cast making up most of the Red Faction masters while some servants were altered like Medea replacing Avicebron and Iskander being the Rider of Red as Lord El-Melloi II's servant. What was really good about it was how the writer had a pretty good understanding of the characters and what makes Fate really appealing and focused more on the story than just cool magic battles. Character interactions were really great, a place where Apocrypha really lacked. Plus Reines and Proto-Gil was such a great combo due to how they got along.

I remember there was an interview where one of the writers and story boarders mentioned that originally milady de winter and Vasco de Gama where going to be servants but ultimately got scrapped, so there’s that to think about. Also don’t sleep on Beowulf when?

About Goredolf.
While in English his name may be associated more to the "gore" word, in Spanish his name sounds similar to "gordo", A word/insult which is used to call someone fat/fatso.
And for fat people named Rodolfo (equivalent to Rudolph) the insult literally meshes into "Gordolfo" which sounds 90% identical to Goredolf.
Adding his personality and body shape, this was one hell of a first impression for many spanish players when he first revealed his name.

I like Apocrypha despite its faults I got to see Achilles my favorite hero of all time and his relationship with Chiron and Atalanta mordred was amazing and karana proved his status as one of the top tiers very well even tho I hate it had to be sieg that beat him

Which historic figure would you like to see becoming a servant. For my case it would be Aleister Crowley since it would very interesting how Natsu handle Aleister as a character.

i think it doesn’t make sense because i fr thought that the transfer of command spells meant the transfer of the servants/the burden of mana. like with artoria when she lost medea in ubw she needed a master so she got rin.
i’m only asking if the transfer of command spells mean the transfer of servants and mana for regular human and amakusa just did some ruler shenanigans or did his servant do some magecraft to only swap command spells but not swap the burden of mana to amakusa. i think that’s the only thing that doesn’t make sense for me about the whole transfer of servants.

Based on what you said, how OP is Ritsuka Fujimaru? He's supplying magic for all Chaldea!
Ritsuka is weak if we compare them to an average Clock Tower mage, they got little to none magic circuits inside them, and all the mana supply for their servants actually came from Chaldea's generator and the mystic code they are wearing, not directly from them since they only have enough mana to supply Mashu.
He's not OP, it's specifically stated Ritsuka has to be right up in the fray with the Servants because his ability is so bad he can't actually give mana from a big distance.
@@numberhunter62 Ritsuka is weak as a mage, but OP af as a master. They got enough charisma to lead an entire legion of servants without breaking a sweat, pretty much every servant in Chaldea respects and loves them. They should have their own category if we are making a master tier list.
@@wzx6x6z6w the only reason all the servants love ritsuka is so self inserters can be happy. if fgo servants were actually written seriously and not just for fan service most of them wouldnt love ritsuka and a lot of them wouldnt like him at all

I hate when they have amazing scenes in the manga but they never use them in the anime.
I like apocrypha but I feel it would benefit from a complete over haul like cut out sieg and kotomine, make it an actual war with tactics and stuff, upgrade the black factions servants or down grade red servants to make it comparable etc like those changes

Man, I already didn't like Apocrypha for how slapdash it seemed and how Sieg is as bland and a piece of wet cardboard as your run of the mill Isekai protagonist, but this series also did some of my favorite servants wrong too? Oh, now Imma' stay hatin'!

Not gonna lie, apocrypha hit the home run for lancers having the worst luck. 🫠 Karna could’ve easily wiped the floor w every servant there and Vlad ALSO had the ability too just because of his homeland boost. Idk, I’m just mad cuz I’m a lancer fanboy 💀
