I disagree to me "America first" means taking care of Americans first, then helping other countries. We have way to many people living in poverty in the USA, we shouod be using some of the money we are sending out to other countries to help ourselves first.

To be fair, when people say "America First", it doesn't mean what the people in this video think it means. It means that Americans should buy things made in America first and put money into fixing our country before helping others. That view is the same in every country. There are no French people saying "Let's give money to help Greece first and then we will take what's left and feed our poor". Every country cares about their people and economy first and everyone else second. That's the way it is for everyone and it should be.

Your knowledge of history needs improving. We were pagan until about the 4th century ad. St Patrick is credited with bringing Christianity. The Norman English arrived at the end of the 12th century and we've had problems with them ever since.

I might be for it, if it meant closing down 100% of all companies who ship any jobs at all overseas, but then that wouldn't happen. They own our legislators. I'm a 60year old Australian and back in the 70's & 80's the French used the Mururoa Atoll area of French Polynesia as a nuclear bomb testing site. It is close to New Zealand and Australia and despite much protest and political intervention they continued leaving our eco systems to cop the fallout radiation. Sorry you don’t understand how WW2 effed this nation up, this whole time that America has been FIRST in defense spending and is FIRST in defense technology is because we don’t plan on letting the world suffer very long if there ever is a WW3 (god forbid). We plan on ending it very quickly by being FIRST in throwing everything we have at our enemies who are an ocean away and protect our allies who are much closer to potential threats. “America First” is a slogan used in the USA by right-wing individuals who believe we place immigrants and other nations priorities ahead of our own. And Europpe without America is just West Russia. No European nation in NATO pays for their own defense. They rely on the blanket of freedom America provides. Ths only reason free shit exist in Europe is because almost none of it's nations have to spend on a defense budget. They leave that to the US, and if we back away and every nation has to provide for it's own defense we'll see how well that goes.

“America First” does not mean we’re number 1. It means we need to start taking care of our own citizens and putting our priorities first before others. Places like Hawaii, the homeless, the vets, the elderly, the mentally ill, our border cities, our towns with no drinking water, our roads and bridges, our food banks and shelters, our schools and teachers…. So many people and places of America we should be taking care of first instead of sending billions of $ and aid to so many other places. THAT is what AMERICA FIRST means.

As a U.S. citizen I support "America First". I want the U.S. to be better than any other nation, but at the same time I want everyone else to want their nation to be the best. With everyone striving to be the best the world moves forward. To simply say we are all a "team" with no incentive to improve means nothing gets better for anyone. To me willful stagnation as a goal is not the ideal for which we should be reachiing.
